Had Discount mount my Konig Six-Shooters on my 5th gen yesterday. They managed to scratch 3 out of 4 of my brand new wheels while mounting them. I ended up getting a credit for a free set of tires out of the ordeal, so I'm satisfied. The scratches are so minor you can barely see them. So next week I'll be getting some 255/80/17 ST Maxx's put on my 3rd Gen:D

My rig is pretty much ready again. Just need to figure out a new rack solution for my tent since my Prinsu rack never materialized.

What's wrong with the way it's mounted now?

It's all good. I think they are slick racks and I wish it would've worked out, but I just don't think he had the time and resources to make it happen. Hopefully he can get it done someday, because there isn't a lot of options for full length racks for 3rd Gen 4Runners right now. I talked to Joe at Mule Today and we are working on some ideas right now, so that will most likely happen.

It worked the way it was mounted, but I really just want a full length rack. Something that will hold the tent, hi-lift, awning, Rotopax and perhaps some storage compartments. When i go on trips, i have at lease one dog with me and that takes up a lot of precious cargo space. So being able to store things on a rack is a big deal to me.

Is Jeverich out of town? If not, he might be willing to hook you up for a few bucks.

Again, just to see if anyone is interested in helping.

Next Saturday, the 4th, my Auburn house. Packing furniture into a uhaul, moving to my new house in Renton. Unpacking furniture. It really will only be furniture since I will try to move all the boxes before.

I should have a few other people joining, any there isn't a ton of stuff. Living room, 3 bedrooms, some stuff in the garage and the shed.

Its pretty easy to do yourself if you have one other person, just unbolt your stock one and bolt this one on.

Good on you for catching it. They recently scratched one of mine but I didn't catch it until over 100 miles later; to late to prove. 4runner looks awesome.

Probably need a torque wrench to tighten them properly but Greddy will comment, he did his not to long ago by himself. If you want to pay someone you can also check out VMI off road, they are up in bellinham and i've heard good things about that shop.

A torque wrench will run you 40 bucks. A shop will charge you 75 an hour.
