Yeah growing up in that era of bmx was like nothing else. Definitely some of my favorite childhood memories by far. I always wanted to do some real sanctioned racing which I was never able to do however cruising around with all my buddies and building our own race trails filled the void just fine.
I was thinking of building my frame back up for the hell of it but those ebay prices made me think otherwise....I'd rather spend that grand on my Tacoma. :D
Check out bmxmuseum.com, that has plenty of cool shit on it. I'm pretty sure they have mid school and new school stuff on it too.

That is so rad man!!!!!! Lol. Really that's so cool. I tried doing a cherry picker once......just once. Lol ......It didn't go so well. Those pics look straight out of bmx action?? remember drawing a circle around the stickers you wanted to order on that ad on the edge of the page and mailing it in. Lol

You obviously look like you were pretty good. Did you ever have a chance to go pro?

I was close but then girls happened (high school and 16) - it was a different planet back then (no internets) and tougher to get exposure :/

Those dam chicks!!! Yeah it was 100% different back then and the whole scene was all in Cali. As far as where you had to be to get noticed.

Rad....sweet movie. I saw a mongoose on ebay that a guy built as a replica a few months back. It was at like 4 grand ....and had bids.

Yeah check that website out.....it'll lock you into a couple hours of internet surfing

Yeah they have changed a lot. Also another crazy thing is the amount of companies now a days compared to before. Everyone is making BMX bikes/parts.

Nice...always wanted a hutch. Although profile made hutch so I kinda had one. I've thought of getting a cruiser. Hutch and skyway both make them. They are badass!!!
