HA! I knew I'd catch shit for it as soon as i looked back on that pic. They're hard bottom slips so it's hard not to wear them everywhere :D

Trust me I know all about shitty neighbors. But I don't know about BS roomates... Having to live with them has to be worse than next to them. Lately our new neighbors kids have taken a liking to Jax and think its fun to tease him... probably since it's how they're used to treating their rez dogs... the one little bastard thinks it's fun to try and feed him doritos while his parents are inside rippn a bowl. Fak! I was quite stern with them last night as they were taunting Jax from the other side of the fence. I think they got the picture, but we'll see.

Yikes! I don't enjoy people that bug dogs without permission. Kids run up to Ash at the park and try to pet him. Which is a bit nerve racking because he is skiddish to sudden movements. Also, he very much doesn't like black people. So when a small black girl came up he started growling. I didn't really know what was happening but luckily she knew to step back.

You could always put some electricity running through the fence :D. OK, don't do that.

I apologized to my roommate for my behavior. He is a good friend so I would rather not burn that bridge. We just don't see eye to eye when it comes to living together. Hopefully we can just chill out over the next few months and then get new roommates to learn to hate .

    Haha, get off my lawn!

I am that guy with the next door twin 6 y/o boys and their little friends. Same deal with their parents. Where the fuck are they? Why does the neighborhood have to raise their children for them? :notsure:

Haha I luckily have some very polite kids in my neighborhood. One of the girls asks if she can pet Ash when I walk by. She then says thank you or have a nice day when she's done. Her mom doesn't even have to do the "what do you say..." tactic. She is just polite.

The kids across the street are a bit loud but always wave to me so it's forgiven.

And this is why my wife and I want to build a house in the middle of 50 or so acres. No neighbors!

Nice pics Ben! The car is looking good :D. I want some better glass :(. One day.

Haha exactly! I am probably going to be "that guy" when it comes my neighbors.

I can only imagine what people will say. "Hey, honey, that weird guy with the toyota is at it again. First it was a tipi and now he has two shipping crates he is cutting up".

I'll wait for the newness to wear off :D. It might work better for you. I loved it most of the time. Very comfortable. Quick-ish to set up and I really liked keeping my bedding in it. It just didn't work for how I like to camp.

Ben, just hang tight on some L glass. A deal will find you sooner or later. It is worth it for sure just based on the tests i've done with my bodies and lenses. The color depth and punch alone is worth it.

RTT's are a niche product. I love it for now but it's not forever for me. Well... maybe it is for certain things. I'll never let it go for what it's good for that's for sure. I'll be backpacking it this summer on a few trips i've already got planned and for those it's worthless haha. I definitely don't regret it and love the comforts it provides on the trails WY has to offer, sure as hell aren't pulling a camper trailer of sorts into Shoshone Lake... Although you could bring a mattress for your ground tent it just isnt the same as the penthouse feel an RTT gives you

No doubt Brady! Some day I hope to afford to do that!

Ben, your car is not old, not even old enough to joke about being old :luvya: I envy your joy with the BRZ.

You are right about the penthouse feel haha. The tipi has started to feel more like a home away from home. I have a pretty nice set up now and it fits my needs for more than just sleeping. The RTT always felt like a backwoods hotel. Just like most hotel stays, you are there for a night and only to sleep. But it was one of those hotels you brag about to your friends.

Those are blue grouse. Different bird. Also very bird haha

Thanks dad! I got 2nd this year. $100 gift card to sweetwater. Oh well. I did however hit it off huge with the big dog engineers. Practially even got a job offer. Lots of cool connections. Going to go visit some for fall break in Nashville I think.

Damn that much? Hmm..well I think the width is worth it with two people. The bachelor size feels perfect for two.

Idk how anyone teaches little kids period...I can barely stand college people.

Shame you won't really get to use it for an extended period of time. That's where they really shine.

That and the fact it's just so quick and easy to just go somewhere on the weekend and just pop it open.

    I love the backwoods hotel.

I'm alive. But barely. Did 22 hours of work yesterday. 4.5 hours of sleep and back to it. Was a good weekend. But I'm going to bed haha

I love it for that reason more so then anything. Just grab some food and go basically....well..for me..Frank kinda stays packed 24/7 when I'm there with OSK and such..but then the tent just pops up where ever I end up.

And seriously...the ladies love it. A lot. They will come with you more because of it.

Hmm..well. If you can. Map it out with vertical walls of some sort and lay flat on it with the lady friend to see what it's like.

Haha I didn't see the post about sage grouse Marc. And Monte I believe he is right. I think Greater Sage Grouse are currently being fought pretty hard not to be listed. I can't remember what exactly was going on with them but we were exploring how saving males is actually more effective than females or juveniles.

I know a big issue is habitat and private land. I could be completely wrong though. I have had so much management shoved down my throat this semester I am getting it all mixed up.

Yea I know for sage grouse it's been a habitat thing.

I saw an ad today for an internship with fish and wildlife as a photographer. They are looking for photojournalism majors but I might apply just for shits and giggles.

Also got an email about a ecology job in Lander from a professor. I am going to go talk to him about it as it was pretty vague.
