    Why would I need a 10000lb winch 9000lb is plenty isn't it the truck doesn't weigh much don't plan on using it everyday or every week hoping not to have to use it much at all I hate getting stuck

    Until it's buried in mud over the axles or has to be dragged over something or pulled sideways. You'll never regret buying a size bigger than you think you can get away with.

    Some stuff...
    I was on the fence but after researching winches I plan on going with the Warn Zeon 10-S when I get my front plate bumper. I little more insurance over the 8K IMO.

    An 8k pound winch is plenty for what you need. Always use a snatch block if you are in doubt.
