finally had some time off work this weekend to get some stuff done... new lines, calipers, rotors and pads. oil and diff fluid change, outer tie rods, grill surround, replacing part of the bumper... nothing exciting but all stuff that needed to be done. i'll wrap it all up tomorrow and maybe go get some new tires and an alignment

Today I pulled the supercharger once again to change some leaking injector o rings. Gas was spraying out onto my block. Fixed that, then drove it to Minnesota. I figured out if I keep it at 3000rpm or more, the knock sensor cel won't activate, so the drive went better than expected. I just had to drive 80mph to achieve that. Got 15mpg, which is better than I was expecting.

i attempted to install some 6.5 components in my truck (01), had clearance with the window rail and the magnet, got the 3/4" MDF plate cut out to fit nice, wired up and went to put the door panel on and the speaker hit the pocket of the door. i got the tweeters installed on the factory brackets, just used some rather awesome and unforgiving super glue and stuck it on the bracket, works great.

Having the manager order up the 5x7 component version and will have one of the other guys at work teach me some fiberglass work and mount the 6.5 speakers in the corners of my camper shell so i can wire up a little stereo setup back there for camping, powered by a second battery

Hmm.. That's odd man, it should be holding pressure pretty nicely. You sure it's getting tightened down enough or are you just running out of threads? If you have to take it apart again you should take pics of both the threads.

John, are you sure all the fitting are NPT? There's NPT, NPS, metric pipe thread, and British pipe thread. None of them like each other. You should be able to thread in a couple turns by hand at least if the threads match.

I it it now. Goop plus tape holding strong :) the barb side is npt, but I think the heat exchanger side is not tapered - that plus pressure makes it hard to deal.

Thx guys. Presto, when you're ready... I'll give a hand :) Ryan, if I'm ever passing through... Samsies.
