Adding the preload is what changes the alignment. There is no way to "put the alignment back as close as possible", the camber will always be off.

Yeah you're right, I didn't think about it like that. I am sure that it will be OK, I not only have to drive home, but my wife wants me to go to somewhere with her & the kids on Sunday & I hate taking her truck. Once it is installed, if I can't stand it I will just go to NTB. I am hoping to wait untill Monday & have it done at my local dealer.

 

What did you get? Do you have it in hand? If so you should bring it & get it done.

I just can't bring myself to replace them until they are worn out. They are ok! But.. I am starting to lean towards the KM2's from the BFG AT.. both have great write ups in the rain, snow, and dirt.. obviously, the KM2s are better for offroad, but not too bad for on road apparently.

Man.. I am already on the hook for a number of "mods" and upgrades. Let me get those done first before you twist my arm. Damn, I just bought the truck in July.. LOL

Alright ladies, tomorrow is the big day. I'm pretty excited especially since my overhead console arrived in the mail yesterday. I'd like to install it if we have time, but more than anything, I want to get some measurements off of y'alls trucks for the hole to cut in the headliner.

I really wish that I could come down, I have a ton of mods just waiting to be done and a bunch of extra LED's that I don't need. The movers are coming on Monday to pick up my advance shipment for Europe and I am not unpacked from Virginia so I think my priorities are at home.

Does anyone have a dremel? I'm sure I could use the cut off wheel on the grinder to cut through the headliner, but I don't want to accidentally put a hole in the roof

 

Yeah, I have a dremel & plans to bring it along with a few other tools that I think could be helpfull to have extras of since we will prob. be working on more than 1 truck at a time.
