^lol. Ok guy. Loan me 8 grand and I'll paint it tomorrow! Until then, she's in her skivvies. In fact, paint is probably what I'll do last, interior, power disc brakes conversion, possibly some suspension upgrades. Then paint.

Probably where I was conceived. LOL.

True story about the birth though. My dad delivered me in the middle of the street on the way to the hospital. I made the front page of the newspaper too. I've never been known for my patience...since birth.

Snap! I had a 55 Chevy Stepside in high school and college. Loved that truck! I had a 350 and a 4 spd manual. What's that beast got?

Looks good! Nice straight body. The 350 is a great motor.
Good Idea doing paint last. It's always a pain having to make sure I use fender covers and a car cover when working on it. Little metal shavings, tools, lights, etc all make their mark eventually.
The paint is about the only thing I haven't redone on mine. It's near 20 years old. Previous owner did all exterior first. (Cheaply, and now I'm paying the price) Some shitty bondo work is starting to show in some places, pain in the butt. But it's a daily driver. Shes gotten a whole new interior, motor, trans, wilwood 4 wheel disk brake kit, all the bells and whistles. Had her since '08. I want to do a '57 Chevy truck next.

Anyone know if Gold Lake trail is open? If not, when it opens? been beautiful weather lately and I'm tempted to go camping with the wife sometime. Fairly confident I can get up there. Any other areas on a lake that have a bit of a trail drive to get to?

I don't remember any gates there. Pretty sure you can camp there year round if you're willing to make the trek.

Ha! That's funny. Bought it from a guy who had it over at the airport. Then went to the school to chill for a bit before the long drive home :)
