I've looked at them, but for hunting I need to tow my atv's up too. I've looked at the ones with trailer decks on the front too but the FWC is nice in the bed. I would do the insulation, fridge, and solar power upgrades and that's about it. Then still be able to take my atvs, the area I hunt would be miserable with out them. I've been looking for a first gen tundra to do all this with, to at least get the power of a small v8.

Nah, I've always used shims at either 2° or 4°.

 

noah while at home depot this morning i saw that they have tool boxes without coming up over the rails available, i forget the brand and they were like $279 or something but you can still get one if the measurements line up. check em out!!

hey did anyone ever run that spare 285 you sold to me? only reason i ask is because it was made in the 2nd week of 2000 which makes it a pretty old tire. Anyone see any issues running a tire that old as a spare? a little wearing cracking on the parts that were contacting the frame when it was mounted in the spare tire holding area but otherwise it looks in good shape.

 

What is the spare tire Phil? I don't understand how it can be made in 2000? But honestly it's just a spare for emergencies so as long as it is holding air it shouldn't be an issue just don't over-inflate it.

 

noah's old spare which i don't remember the brand of, big horn maybe.

i reconditioned the tire a little with some tire black and thats how i found the slight cracking, I'm not to concerned about it, was just curious if i needed to start searching for a newer 285/75/16 spare tire and sell this one cheap or something.
