    Hey Guys and Gals,

I found this "DIY OEM intermittent wiper stalk install" in Technical Chat.

I was wondering if anyone has done this to a 2015 Base Taco.
I'm interested in doing this to my truck if it still works.

    Thanks

Very true. Although I was still wary since not as much has been discussed for the 2015's. They really hold the intermittent switch hostage for the upper trims and you begin to wonder would they go the extra scumbag step and cut off this loophole, removing the plug n play switches for straight wiring and soldering.

There was a big sigh of relief when I popped the steering shroud open yesterday, and an even bigger sigh of relief when I flipped the intermittent mode on.

Can't wait for April showers to start and I can begin reaping the rewards of a voided warranty :)

Well put and be careful what you wish for regarding the rain. It's been raining for he last 4 or 5 months here. It seems like the north west here in GA.

    Ok!
Just installed the intermittent wiper assembly (84652-04141) in my 2015 Tacoma.
Just to let you know, there is a circuit board attached to to the new wiper stalk.
The new circuit card assembly contains the circuitry that controls the intermittent operation.
Any way, the job took about 15 minutes. Just be very careful not to over torque the 2 screws to the stearing column cover as they screw into plastic.
Fit form and function are perfect.
    Later
