Don't know if you've been warned or not but that word in that context is a no no. This stands as your warning.

I won't get into details but threads have been locked, users infracted and bans discussed over it.

Traveling Chiver. Anytime I go out to eat at a restaurant I leave a big tip (RAK) and make sure to KCCO on the receipt. Have also had lots of waitresses and waiters write it on the receipt sine I'm usually wearing one of my Chive shirts lol

    Can't forget about Tapiture either.

It was moving for me when I went to see it 2 years ago. Much different then the Vietnam memorial in DC. It's a cemetery. And a moving one.

I was very surprised by the amount of Japanese tourist that were there. Don't know why u was surprised but I was.

I've always wondered if they feel kinda weird. I know if I were Middle Eastern and went to the Twin Towers memorial, I'd feel like everyone was staring at me...not trying to sound like a bigot or anything....I've just always wondered how if feels being of a certain decent and going to something like that.

One of the vet's in that article, Mickey Ganitch is really big with the Navy League here in the Bay Area. I was surprised to see his picture in the Friday Dar. I'll have to get him a KCCO shirt!

I had the same thoughts. They were not Japanese Americans. They were tourist groups from japan. For me now that I've been there, that is one of the most hallowed pieces of land we have as Americans. Imagine going to Arlington (if you have been there). That is what Pearl Harbor is. At least to me.

I guess it's not awkward for them. I went to the MLK museum in Atlanta on a field trip in high school and didn't feel awkward. I took no part in all the shit that went on during the civil rights era, so I didn't feel guilty or anything lol.

Yeah, the green packaging and KCCO note were great. Now I've just got to convince the fiancée to let me put it up somewhere!
