    Hello,
I am wondering what the best way to go about adding 1-1.5" to the hight of the truck. I want to keep access to undergrounds and not change any geometry too much. I am not looking for a 2"+ just want it to sit a hair higher. I already have a +1 tire size so it sits a little higher to begin with. Its a 2009 AC TRD OR.
    any ideas?
    Thanks

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Ironman4x4 has a 2" lift kit that works great. I've been using it for a few years. I just recently upgraded to their foam cell pros that are fully adjustable. Go check my started by threads for both threads.

I currently have 5100's set to .85 with stock Offroad coils, and that gave me an inch. Set to 1.75 will give you pretty close to 2"

I am looking to do the same. Do any of you know if you have to do any other stuff to the suspension besides chaniging spings and shocks. I am looking to do this on the cheap, but dont want to buy junk. I might also want to eventually put in a hidden winch pan will this make me want to put heavier springs? Any help on this would be appeciated.

For budget 2" I would go the bilstein route as mentioned above ;)

Do you think if I put 5100s on all four corners. If i set the front ones to .85" and left the rears without a AAL it would level out the OR? Or would it be wise to put a AAL on the back? Generally what do people run for a mild lift with 5100s.

Adding an AAL with only .85" up front is going to give you more than stock rake i.e. Nose dive look.

I went with OME 884s on bilstein 5100s set at 0 and gained right at 2". This set up will ride better than using the stock coils and setting the 5100 shock at 1.75 because you aren't preloading the coil. But it will be more expensive b/c you have to buy the coils. It comes down to comfort vs $. Hope this helps.

Right now, mine is almost level (with 5100's all around, fronts @ .85). The back is 1" higher than the front, so just a slight rake. I have the original 2+1 leafs that came with the '05.

If you have the 3+1 leafs you should be level @ 1.75.

If you go the AAL route, @ .85 you will have a good rake, as the back will be a good deal higher than the front depending on which AAL you go with.

Just be aware, if you do go to higher than .85, there's a chance you will get the front differential vibe. It's fixable with the ECGS bushing ($60) though.

Neither. You should still have a slight rake if you do nothing to the rear

Replaced OEM lights with LED's for the following: MAP, Dome, License plate, and reverse lights.
@rngr what do you have on the rear? And are you level or do you have some rake?

Im about to purchase an AAL for the rear and I already have the Billies for the front just waiting for AAL to install everything. I was going to keep stock coils and set Billies at 1.75 but from what I hear I will still have some rake with my 1.5" AAL. So I'm curious about your OME 884's. I didn't want to spend more money but hey I will if I have to.

So i think I will order all 4 Billies... i will run the fronts at .85" and just the shocks on the rear... I hope to level it out a bit and improve the ride... If i want to lift it a bit further in the future I will increase the lift on the fronts and add a AAL on the rear...
does this sound like a good plan?

I think this will accomplish exactly what you are shooting for. Please take before and after measurements, and post pics when you have it installed. I would like to accomplish the same end result - slight lift in the front, decent ride, and a little more room for 265/75-16 tires. Mine is a 2013 AC 4x4 TRD Off Road, with the rear 2+1 oem leaf springs...

BTW, from most of the research I have done on this issue, if you want a bit more lift, I would seriously look at different springs with the Billies @ 0 or .85 instead of 1.75 with the oem coils. That's just me.

OEM roof rack, Shorty antenna (eBay), soft tonneau cover, K&N drop in air filter, bed mat, interior LED lights, 5100's, MT tires to come soon!!!
I left my stock setup in the rear and 5100's at 0.85. Trucks level and rides great.

^^ How long has that Ironman been on boatbuilder? Just curious.

EDIT - Nevermind, found you in the other thread, you have the rusting issues as well it appears.
