Fissure Mtn. at the HAMMERS

today Denny, Marlon, Eric, myself along with my brother met up with Jon of All Pro for a run at the world famous HAMMERS..home to KOH (King of the Hammers). Jon agreed to lead us through a trail called Fissure which is easily the easiest trail of the Hammer trail system. Fissure offered one little technical section at the very beginning. after that we quickly gained some altitude and came across some cool views of the entire valley below in all directions. since it was super windy a lot of dust was blowing around and otfen enough you could see some good size dust clouds blowing around in the distance. we'll be heading back to the Hammers in a few weeks to join All Pro at their "Get Hammered" event..gonna be fun!

i'm assuming Area 52 is somewhere in Nevada haha..do you have any pics of what the trails look like?

Besides the start and the end there was not much "action" it was a great drive though! Fissure let's you see all that is the Hammers area! And it is breath taking! I sure hope we don't lose this area to 29palms. It would really suck! We got to see a little of Sledgehammer and it looks freaking nasty!! Def have to have a crazy rig for that one! The gateway at Calico looks like a walk in the park compared to Sledge! Anyway here are a few of my shots...
