I wanna stay LED because of low Amperage. So when I am out camping or hunting I can leave them on with the truck off and shit.

What all are you wanting from the lights? Just for when you camp and hunt?

 

I wanna be able to have plenty of light output both far enough and wide. I'm not the most crazy offroad dude and don't need to see 2000ft in front of me, but I like some capability to see beyond what the headlights can do for me. And yes when I'm camping or hunting I like to be able to leave lights on for extended periods of time if need be.

I think these XL's paired with something else will be a good setup for what I need.

 

Yes make sure to do floods on something.

My 3 rigid things in my truck are spot and all 3 reach out far but not real close. That's what the China bar does for me lol

 

Stumbled in this thread and just gonna throw this out there. Speaking of vision x cannons, here's some clones that are more cost effective. Uses same luminus chip. Awesome lights. For half the price

Heard that

 

Stock headlights on a 2nd gen Tacoma put light out further than Duallys in spot pattern. Flood Duallys won't help much at all when driving. I had Rigids in Spot pattern and had to upgrade to Q series in hyperspot, because you couldn't even tell when they were on or off with my FX-Rs on high beam.

 

I have yet to see the Squadron pro, but I have seen the Squadron Sport and they are a joke.
