    :notsure:
I'm getting tired of dealing with them, so I'll probably end up going w/a different dealership. I'll have to drop the truck off for a couple of days, but that's not a big deal because I can just drive the Yeti instead.

Not sure on toyota but GM pays about $30 an hour less for warranty work, plus the dealer loses markup on parts. Hence why the assholes at McLaughlin fucked me over on my 06 Colorado head failure

Be glad you don't have the OR model. My seat rattle was blamed on having the OR (even though I replicated it with the truck stationary) and gave up trying to get the TSB leafs because dealer A blamed the OR package, dealer B blamed the ARB.

I ended up with a free set of TSB springs I just need to clean up from someone on here and then I'm throwing in an Icon AAL and calling it good.

Finished mouting the T5 5spd tranny in my '63 Falcon Convertible. Dropped off the driveshaft for it to be shortened at a driveline shop. Just me and the kid for the rest of the week, wifey is traveling. Light snow Saturday and again this morning

Try calling Toyota Customer Service USA, circumvent the dealership. That's what I had to do to get the TSB the first time. The local dealership was acting like they had no idea what it was, Customer Service gave me a claim number, contacted the dealership and made them perform the work.
    Man up, polar bear plunge!

Easier said than done since the pool is frozen and there's a shitload of snow on the cover..oh well, my new winter tradition will be getting ink :)

TRD OR has additional seat flex to make up for the stiffer suspension, clearly.

    Pics or it didn't happen.
Why the swap to the T5? Just better streetability from the extra gears, or was the old one on its way out?

If Dealership #2 doesn't feel cooperative that's probably the route that I'll take.

Maybe he decided to settle for a concealed slingshot (although, in or near NYC, they'd probably still get you on a weapons charge if caught with it).

Nope - just was tired of the 3sp column shift running out of gear as well as having something to do. I had 'finished' it a few years ago but now it's going to be changed a bit. I may drive it more with a 5sp as I've only put maybe 100 miles tops in about 5± years. I stayed old school for the engine with 3 aces on a built 200 CID straight 6 as I figured a 347 might be too much for the body to keep from flexing. Next is to rebuilt an 8" rear with 3:55s converting over to a 5 lug. Got the spindles and the rear, just need the steering parts - may be bagged, can't decide, and new wheels either wires or chrome smoothies. Of course that may change... Here's some old photos when I first finished it a few years back - looks the same...

I'm fairly certain that'd be a felony. Thinking the word gun in NYC is probably a felony.

Nice. Original Webers on an Offenhauser intake, or did you go with Holley's instead? How many CFM, if you changed them? I've heard that a hot 200 can only really handle about 350 without getting overgassed.

Haha, for some reason that reminded me of 'Meet the Fockers' when Ben Stiller got arrested on the plane. 'You said bomb on an airplane'
