    Another useless mod, but I like the look of the scoop! I don't think I would have paid what the dealership wants, But... I got a deal on a factory sport hood, and was able to paint it myself with the use of a friends spray booth. Thats how I justified it anyway...

    How did the color matching come out? I'd be a bit nervous of not being able to match the color and having slightly different shades of black.

    The color code on the inside of your drivers door will get you close, but the exact color usually needs to be doctored a bit until an exact match is found. Mostly because every vehicle has different exposure to sunlight. Have a body show match your color rather than a paint store.

    I have been thinking about adding one to my 2014 RC Taco... and I have found several pretty cheap on the internet, but where do you get that plastic insert for the scoop? I dont even know what to google to find that.... thanks!

    I dig the hood scoop functional or not.Try a piece of vinyl wrap material on the scoop to defer the glare from the sun.

    this is correct.... our son owns a body shop and the new technology and paint mixing will blow your mind if your a bit "older" :) matching is not happening without a body shop/ paint booth dude with experience
