Are those the stock sized tires? And are you at a full 3" lift?

OME 3 inch lift all the way around, 285 75 16s, fog light any time, HID, Rock sliders, 30 inch bumbper LED, LED pod ditch lights
Switching to a OME kit soon, I am currently running 3 inch spacers. Will I need an alignment? I got one when I put in the spacer kit.

    Yes sir
Yes, always get an alignment after a lift, it's one of the best things you can do for your truck. Also, most guys use an aftermarket upper control arm such as SPC's Light Racing upper control arm, camburg, or total chaos upper control arms to get a much better alignment since you're lifting your truck 3 inches and you're running out of factory alignment. It'll allow you to get much better toe, camber, and caster degrees and subsequently your tires should wear better and your truck should also handle better

Everything is in the cart... Just had a couple of questions.

If I'm planning on running 887 coil springs, which would be the better shock to run? N140S or 90021?

Is the FK29 Fitment Kit needed right away? Or should I install everything and see how bad the vibe is and then order later? It is the driveshaft spacer for vibration correction.

And for the Dakars, can I use the OEM bushings taken off my stock springs? Or should a get a new set for the Dakars? If I should buy new ones, Poly or OEM rubber?

    Thanks everyone!!!

Just got an All-Pro steel front bumper (to go with my rear) and currently have 5100's set at the middle setting up front with stock springs and 5100's in the rear w/the stock leaf pack w/the TSB AAL. I was planning to get OME front springs and probably Dakar leaf pack for the rear and from what I've read I'm leaning towards the 887's. I know the 886's are basically made for my bumper (plus winch and other armor which I likely won't ever have) but it sounds like they ride pretty harsh. Given I plan to run JUST that front bumper I also feel like the 886's may be a bit overkill for my needs. I read that the 887's are the same spring rate as the 885's only 5mm longer and some have had good luck since they settle that 5mm or so from the bumper but they ride less harsh than the 886's. What is the general consensus on running 887's instead of 886's with only a front plate bumper swap?

I know you can use OEM bushings for the Dakars, i ran into this issue when i realize that bushing kit was left off in my package, That is currently getting resolved at the moment. If you order the OME kit with the Dakars it should come with bushings etc. just check with your vendor.

When you're ordering Dakar leafs you have to order 2 bushing kits to go with them. They do not come with. The bushing part # is OMESB108

Go to Summit and get some 60s Camero bushings. OD is the same and you just need to drill out the inner to make the ID a little bigger. Just another option if you don't want to wait for them to show up and you're by a Summit Racing shop.

Finally had the OME lift installed. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I can say that I am now a fan.

First drive impression was that it rose smoother than stock, but definitely stiff (probably due to the dakars). I don't mind the stiffness or extra bounce in the rear. I also noticed that I now feel more of the imperfections in the road. Again, I don't mind. One thing that wasn't sure about was the steering. I feels loose or maybe a better term would be that it wanders. When I was moving the wheel left and right it felt like it would roll, it doesn't feel responsive. This could be an alignment issue I think. the shop had a hard time with the alignment. They had to take it to another shop for the alignment and didn't give me the print out. According to them its at 0 toe, 0 camber, and 3 caster (both sides). regardless, I'm taking it to firestone on friday to double check. They forgot to install the CB drop so I do feel the vibrations at take off. I had them install the diff bushing. I did in the 4x4 test and felt no vibrations. All in all I am very happy, probably just needs some getting used to (my first lifted truck).

I'll post pictures when I figure out how to do it.

My bet is that they didn't give you your alignment numbers because they aren't 0,0,3 (especially if you told them that is what they should be aiming for). Take it to another shop and get it aligned correctly and I bet it drives much better.

Did you get new UCAs? Which coils? Spacers?

I think you're correct on the alignment.

ARB bumper installed this past weekend...OME (Heavy 886s) Kit going in this weekend!!! So pumped! I haven't purchased the Trim Packer and it wasn't installed. That is the only thing I am considering before I start the install. Any suggestions? I plan to install a gas tank skid (among other skids) and I am concerned that once I do that I'll notice the Taco Lean (which I don't currently notice). Any thoughts?
