My son hit a deer while driving my Taco, so I guess it is time for a steel bumper and new headlights. I have decided on spyder headlights with HID on the low beams. I like the Tactical Armour group bumper, mainly for price, but the reviews on this site have made me change my mind. $1255 for receiver style bumper, procomp HID 35w floods, procomp 4" HID spots, dock bumpers and shackel mounts. I need an alternative with price in mind as the bodyshop is only giving me $500 credit for the bumper.
I need to find a bumper and need it delivered in 6 weeks.

Personally, from what I have read, and personally experienced with Pelfreybuilt, I would go with them. There customer service is top notch. Brute force I believe there is a thread out there saying some negative stuff. Famous fab and teactical I cannot speak for.

I only suggest these based on the product that your looking for and the customer service. In terms of the styling you like I cant say if Pelfrey built is for you.

Just noticed your in Canada too. Pelfreybuit ships fastenol so its a lot cheaper on shipping. Especially if you get it shipped across the border.

That looks like more than $500 worth of damage.

It works but I am having a hell of a time getting it to fit properly. Wait times are something else too.

When looking for your new front bumper just check out wait times, shipping (make sure fastenol or some other method that you can pick it up in the states), and customer service. Just some advice for anyone looking to buy haha. In terms of styling and strength they are all pretty much the same. Winch points and clearance are really the differences, but they are generally all the same.

Thank you for your input. How long did you wait for your bumper.

No worries on the help, I am not expert just based on my experiences. I think it was either 1 year or 1.5 years. That was for a rear bumper and front bumper. This was 2 thanksgivings ago.

Here is a little info on Brute force. Just mentioning it, don't know if its true, but worth mentioning.

Yes, I have read that, and the poor reviews of Tactical Armo. I can't find a phone number for famous fab either. I was hoping some one would make it easy.

They're not everyone's favorite - but for a combination of low cost and fast turaround - you gotta check All Pro.

I have A Brute Force Fab plate bumper. Couldn't ask for more. Billy builds great products. There is alot of negatives that people have been putting up. I ordered my bumper 2 weeks later it was mounted on my truck. He still keeps in contact to make sure its holding up.
