I take Melvin to the dog park just about everyday. There is one in my neighborhood so it is really convenient.

Took this with the GoPro while we were doing some camping one weekend

Awesome dogs! Tried adding pics of mine, but either my internet is running slow, or I am doing something wrong. Will be back soon to add pics of my little side-kick.

I used to take Ash quite a bit. I loved the dog park drama . People will always find something to spread rumors about. I had one lady come up to me and go "o my gosh, a regular is here, FINALLY" and then caught me up on the weirdos.

I quit going after Ash got kennel cough from there. I will probably try again this summer as it's calm and less college students with poorly behaved pups are there.

Gotcha, yea my boy Melvin got the kennel cough when I was living up in Tallahassee but the dog park I go to now is a small one in my apartment complex where only about 2-4 dogs are in it at one time. I have a tight group of friends that I'll text to let know I am headed there and it is usually just us 3.

Man, I think porky sprained one of her legs. she's been limping. No whimpering, but she isn't putting any weight on it. I hope she doesn't need surgery :(

Ferny welcome to the club buddy. My wife just took our boxer Bentley to the vet as she's been limping/toe touching for about 2-3 weeks. Vet gave us anti-inflammatory pills to try first and it didn't touch it. Just found out today that her acl is torn and will need surgery to the tune of about $2500-$3000 after xrays and crap!! :( Then it's a 4wk crate recovery and then 2-4 more weeks of easy low intense walking.

Has anyone tried to keep a 5 year old boxer still for more than 15 minutes? Lol

sorry to hear about your pooch's injury

make sure you get a second opinion. my buddy had a lab aussie mix with a torn acl at age 7. First yet said it NEEDED surgery. 2nd said lets wait and see how well she can get around after the trauma of the injury subsides.
She lived to age 13 without having it fix and wasn't much of a hindrance. Ran and swam at the beach, wrestled, dog stuff
Unless your dog is gonna play in the NBA, you can operate with a torn ACL
age 5 may be young enough to justify fixing it thought.... tough call

Thanks! I just picked up that 35 chevy in the background for a new project and my wife said to the dogs "lets go take pics". She said Roman (the one in that pic) Just laid down and put her paw on that rock like she was ready for pictures! haha. its funny how they seem to know what we are talking about sometimes.
