I transfered my midtravel from the Tacoma to a 3rd gen 4runner and the coilover is clocked different. It was enough that the fittings for the ressi hose did not fit in the coilbucket.

thanks for the sanity check! That is really odd they are clocked different. I'll add that to the running list of differences to a front end that should be the "same" lol

-brake calipers on 4runner don't use banjo bolts.
-outer tie rods and LBJ are different on 4runner for a tighter turning radius.
-***hole pattern in coil tower is clocked slightly different***

2.5x8" king RR secondary shocks for the front, and 2.0x2" king bumps? or king bumps with buckets seats and 5 point harnesses? either one will cost about the same. bored and just sold my flat top camper shell since i cant use it with the rear fiberglass and have the money.

Bypasses for the rear or rear long travel. Don't waste money on seats unless you plan to cage real soon. Or after you do the rear

yea was thinking the same with no cage. i dont plan to cage this one. im thinking of building or buying a project truck to bash. just thought for shits and giggles for seats for the tacoma. im doing bumps for the front no doubt. just a daily but to beat a little on the weekends. for now the rear is just mid travel with the king 12". been looking around for 12" bypasses for the rear just in case i can snag some. but only way to tell the future would be to finally put the crap on the truck and run it lol thanks man haha

Didn't realize you weren't LT in the rear. You don't need option 1 or 2. LT the rear 1st.

yea i would Lt the rear but its just a daily. and there isnt stuff around here like you guys have. if i really want ill buy or build a 83-90s yota front to back to bash on it and do some races in for fun. figured if i have some spending money id buy some bumps for the front. thanks for you guys input tho, much appreciated not being total dicks like guys i have encountered before lol

Well why put long travel on it then? You will never use the front as you are supposed to with a mid rear end.

    Just my opinion

drop brackets are 2005 lol. ive always wanted a Camburg kit on my Tacoma and had the opportunity to get all my stuff for a sweet deal so i took it. if i don't use the kit to its full potential it doesn't really bother me. Its just to play around in sometimes, like i said i could buy or build a 2nd gen toyota to really beat on and have this truck for fun. each to their own.

A standard coilover lift will get you enough articulation and save a lot of money. LT springs are also pretty stiff unless you go with custom rates.

I don't understand why you would want front LT first and not do the rear...and if you don't want to go fast then why LT in the first place? You can get 3.5" from a coilover for $1200 vs spending 3k+ for LT and not using it to its fullest potential. Just trying to save the guy money.
