The diameter refers to the main tube. I JUST installed the 3" on mine and personally love it. It fills up the rockers very well. They however are not in stock and would need to wait 15 working days. The 2" step is cheaper and readily available.

Purely what you like. Steps are the same on both. Put the 2" on mine as I liked the look better than the 3". Here's a pic of the 2" on a DCSB. Maybe someone with the 3" will post up a couple, or check one of the many threads on the N-fabs. Also, get true N-fabs and stay away from the clones from Chine sold by Smittybuilt.

Good info. The Go Rhino's that I have on there right now are just like the 2". Do you have a pic of the 3" on your truck?

Thanks man...they look very nice. And I am definitely sticking with the real N-Fabs. BTW: Your TRD Pro is GORGEOUS.

After running the two inch, I'd go w/ the three inch. Only because it's the only way to get all the way to the rear tire. Otherwise they'll end at the double cab.

So are all 2" cab length and the 3" wheel-to-wheel?

And let us know where you buy them and for how much. I may be looking as well. A 15 day wait is nothing, I've got another two months till I get my truck back.

I think the 3" look better because they leave less of a gap between the cab bottom and top of the bar, so you see less of the frame.

I just put the 2" N-Fabs on my 2015 Taco DCLB. Have gotten several compliments on them from others that think they look nice. Also makes it easier for my little ones to climb in and out!

Admittedly I've realized the 3" will fill the gap between the nerf bar and the cab better.

BTW - I ordered mine through Amazon. They shipped out very quickly. Showed up in like 3-4 days from the date I ordered them. Very well packaged. And amazingly simple to install them. From unboxing to job done was like 30 minutes.

All you need is a socket wrench.

Thanks. Didn't realize you had a LB. My vote would be for the 3" as you can get them in the Wheel to Wheel like I put on my Pro. The 2" does not come in a Wheel to Wheel version for the LB and in my view I think the end at back of cab scenario looks kind of hacked. Much cleaner when they are wheel to wheel. Also prefer the Satin finish over the Gloss Black.
