I always loved those. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like SUV type vehicles.

A forerunner with a trailer is a win situation. If those can be bought cheap definitely consider one.

I make those, it's another of my hobbies. Been building that style for 25 years or so. I lost track around the 200 mark...that was 7 years ago.

I'm actually selling these to the second generation. Guys are asking their dad's if they can use the trailer and the dad's are telling the kids to get their own.

Those options are always suggested when someone orders a trailer. Unfortunately I can't build a trailer cheaper than you can buy it off a lot. Most people opt out when added options increase the cost.

I just got done inventoring the a/c parts for my 04. Found out I got hole in the condenser. That job goes to the back burner until new one shows up. Decided to have a drink and do some posting. Something's should not be so difficult. I dunno. Don't judge me:)

damn the bad luck, that sucks.

but in a way it makes things easier because replacing the drier is easier if the condenser is out so you have better access to the fittings.

that is the most adorable little track machine. it is too small to be a bobcat so is it an alley cat or something?

it looks perfect for small landscaping and driveway maint, what is it and what do those things cost?

This one is called "Prodigy", they have several different names.

This one I picked up from Home Depot when they auctioned it off because too many hours. It came with its own trailer to carry all the assecories. Trencher, Roto tiller, post hole auger, pallet forks, tree root ball hole auger and bucket.

You can see the trailer ball in the bucket, it is powerfully enough to move the car hauler around the yard with a car on the trailer. I can't find enough uses for this thing.

It will fit through a 32" doorway and you can park it anywhere because of the individual track controls.

I stole it for $3200. New, with all assecories and trailer is $20k.

Prodigy doesn't really roll off the tongue. The wife calls it my "little toy". I like the name alley cat, might be borrowing that name. I do have to correct you, it is not "adorable".

Last summer I sold our 1973 Melroe/Case Bobcat with the Wisconsin V4 for $1000. It was worn out again after it's last full rebuild (3 total).

Wow. Eric & I just looked at Koditten's trailer video and pics of his '98 Taco and garage/workshop. Drooling with envy. Want all of it. Now please. Can you ship all of that to Oregon now? Or come be our neighbor maybe? We'll only need to borrow things "occasionally" :D

Mod, your comment about drinking and skimming the lawn before the downpours had me laughing - that's exactly what was happening over here at that same time yesterday. Set the blade to damn near scalp the lawn, cuz the non stop rain is starting any minute, and who knows when it will stop! Meanwhile we are still having issues with our mower. I swear, I'm starting to think there's a conspiracy going on at our local gas station against us or something - first the Taco, now the mower..........hell, even our damn table saw is having problems now too! Wait, that doesn't run on gas. Hmm, and I can't use drinking as my excuse for that brilliant comment since it's only 7:30am. :D

PS - I have to try to stay off my feet today to let a foot injury heal, so I am going to be online truck/SUV shopping a good chunk of the day. Help me find the perfect vehicle today guys! I talked to Eric about the Canadian 4Runner, but the distance makes it kinda impractical. Otherwise woulda been cool to buy from someone we could trust, and sounded like a good deal for something that would be perfect for us. Too bad it's so far away!

OK, looking at 4Runners online - it looks like they don't have as much clearance as a Taco to get over boulders and stuff safely, what do you guys think?

did you hurt your foot by kicking the lawn mower that wouldn't run?

maybe you can have the local church do a demon exorcism to get your karma right again?
