So Ive been looking and can't find a matching company that has two LED lights that are 4" to 6" can be connected to one switch, and has extensions for the harnesses

I know it's a lot to ask, but I want to wire up a pair of hopefully 1200+ lumens total led lights to the back bumper of my truck, that connected to 1 switch in the cab. This seems to use a lot of wiring harness (don't knkw exact distance)

I was hoping to spend as little money as possible seeing they dont need to be high quality to produce enough light to see behind. I've checked rigid industries but they (like always) are super expensive, and a little too high quality for the application

So does anyone know of a company with two led lights of 4" to 6", a swing switch harness for both lights, and long enough wiring or extensions? Or a combo of the three items that will work

Also, if anyone has done this and has advice on where and how to get to the hole in the bottom of the truck that goes into the cab for wiring, that'd be great

That definitely helps thanks, makes the wiring distance way shorter!

    Hi Annolino,

You can buy a universal foglight wiring harness from Autozone, etc. They typically include a switch and relay.

The neat thing about this is that you can customize it to your liking, ie replacing the included switch with a custom one that fits perfectly in blank block off plate slot.

Universal switches, doesn't look that great. (No offense intended).

    OEM style switch, looks great.

Custom OTRATTW switch on the bottom row. Not as great as OEM but looks better than the universal switch on the top row.

With the wire harness you can cut and splice to your desired length. Refer to the great wiring placement diagram by caribe makaira.

As for LED lights, I'm still not quite sure how you'll mount it. Surface mount? Custom mount in a cut out bumper? Browse these company websites for LED lamps. Most of their products will probably come with a universal wiring harness. I'm doubtful if these products can reach 1200 lumens, as that's about the equivalent of car headlights.

I'm not familiar with offroad LED light bars so hopefully someone else will chime in here. I saw an Explorer police interceptor with roof mounted LED lightbars and it lit up both sides of my street like it was trying to kill vampires. Definitely brighter than LED fog lights in those links I posted.

Ive got a TRD OR, so the there are no blank switch locations, ill have to make my own panel for my switches. But thats not a big deal at all.

thank you for the links though, they help

I sat last night looking at the back of my truck and think im gonna wait for a new bumper before i get lights, that way they dont look out of place

We have dual light wiring harnesses and 6" led lights. don't have the 6" single row backup light on the website right now but we have them. They are on sale for $25 each and the harness is $18.

Sidetracked: what's the lumen rating for those 6", also the dimensions?

And now long is the duel light harness?

    Dimensions are 6.25" x 2.25" x 1.75" tall
Raw lumen output is 1260 i believe, but I will double check.

The dual light harness has two 10ft leads from the relay to the connector for the lights. the lights have about 12-18" of wire on them (these pods don't have the DT plug on them).
