I'm glad this is the last alignment I have to get to get my money's worth out of the lifetime alignment at Firestone. I'm so fucking sick of their corporate bullshit. I'll be going back to mom and pop shops after this one.

Considering there was a possible 150 point to get on the exam. No this is not good. But it's still above class average.

Only one I went to in Arlington was the one on Pioneer. And they tried to tell me they couldn't align it becaus it had spacers on it. I told them to fuck off. Then they did the alignment anyway.

No fucking shit. They ended up coming in and telling me that they couldn't align it until the front end was rebuilt. I told them that I had just rebuilt it about 8000 miles ago. They said it needed new balljoints, inner tie rods, outer tie rods, and possibly a steering rack. But said all that needed replaced to get the alignment was the inners and outers. I told them to show me and sure enough the outers need replaced. The inners looked fine to me but the outers definitely had play in them. Either the hole in the spindle got wallowed out or the thread on the TRE were too small because they moved around freely at the spindle. So I told them to take it off the lift and I'd go replace them. Then they started in on the "this is a VERY important part and we suggest only certified mechanics replace it" bullshit. I told them I'd have the same shop do it that does all the work on my truck... me. Then they got the manager involved and he was saying "we can't allow you to leave with an unsafe vehicle". We argued back and forth and I finally gave in. We went inside to "get a quote", they set my keys on the counter, and I grabbed them and hauled ass. Fuck that place. I'll replace the outers and take it to the mom and pop shop I used to use.

Nope. The curve was already built in the test. There was a possible 150/100 points available. The teacher is a tough grader.
