My DCLB front numbers with 887 springs are about the same as those for the AC above with 884s. 22 1/2" drivers side, and 22 7/8" on the passengers, with the trim packer on the drivers side. I'll be ordering a single top plate spacer it appears.
Don't fear the Dakar rear springs. The ride is more firm, but after a couple of days you wont notice it anymore, unless maybe you have washboard road to drive down. Not sure how they compare with AALs, saw too many post where folks upgraded from those to Dakars so I spent the extra money up front.
I went ahead with the new shocks, maybe the old ones ride smoother but I like I said, after a couple of days I don't really notice the firmer ride anymore.
I ordered from Headstrong, if I'd ordered from Wheeler's I'd probably have gone with the older shock and Camburg UCAs instead of LR UCAs. I have no regrets with my choice at this point.

^^^^^^^ this, x2 .... if you use the trim packer thats specifically for OME products, it will not require the use of the top plate spacer

And OP just buy the new UCA's .... because in my experience, alignment shops cannot properly align these trucks that has any kind of lift. Trust me, your ride quality and tires will thank you. And defiantly get the 884's as front springs for a good ride

Not necessarily, I have the trim packer on the drivers side and still have 3/8" difference, the passenger higher than the drivers.

It'll honestly never be 100% perfect with either option, I had about that much lean when I had my front eibach lift with bilstein 5100's set on zero with the drivers side top plate spacer.

I read somewhere that the rear OME shocks didn't work on a 2015. Did they fix this? Seems strange but it was listed somewhere.

Purchased this same lift over the weekend. Beem trying to research everything I can but with so many threads its a bit hard to find exactly what I'm looking for. Sonce this thread is active I have a couple different questions.

My kit didn't come with the trim packer option, guessing that is a separate buy? I paid the additional fee to have them prebuild the front coil over so doubtful I will end up going that route. I might be able to contact them before shipping and see if they will install the trim packer as well.

Are the studs on the OME long enough to accomodate the spacer plate and an additional plate for the lean?

Second, one thread I was browsing had someone mention people having problems when using the diff drops. Can someone clarify on this? Last thing I want to do is damage the driveline with kit suggested features that are not needed. I plan to get as close to the 3" of lift as possible.

Appreciate any help on this and alologies to OP for piggybacking his thread. Hopefully the info will be useful to both of us

Sure you already know but if ordering on the toytech site use their promo code 112710 for the 5% off.

I ordered from a separate company that looked identical on checkout page. Would have cost me about $100 more but they matched the package and the 5% discount.

Just waiting on the shipping confirmation now. N-Fab bars will be here tomorrow.

My OTD price was 914.24 shipped. Prebuilt coilovers, top plates but no trim pack.

Have to figure out about the UCA's.

    Which brings up another question.

Is camber or caster the main problem when dealing with needing more adjustment? I might have to wait until Summer to install if I need UCA's, can't put off a roof on the garage any longer and will ride out ny stock tires until at least Fall.

I did abunch of reading about this when I ordered my OME lift last fall b/c there's not a ton of info about the differences between the two. What I gathered from abunch of research is that the Nitrocharger Sport are the newer version and are made to handle heat alittle better than the old version. I went for the newer ones and have been very pleased with them.

Got the older shocks, no bushings and sleeves for the shackle side, no trim packer and no carrier bearing drop. Did you even get full leaf packs or just AALs?

All these various prices which may seem cheaper, but what are you actually getting in the kit. I think so many people miss this when price matching. Shoot I see people buy these kits with just the AAL and think its a great deal when the competitor might include the Dakar Leaf Packs for only a few hundred more which is actually the better deal.

Just thinking folks should create a list of all the components included to do a true comparison on price (apples to apples) to know whether or not they are really getting a good deal and all thats needed in the kit.

I got the exact kit in the toytech link first post.

Built coilovers, dif drop, top plates, new bushings, AAL etc. Did not get the rock guards as I don't offroad

    Yes sir
I believe it's caster, I think with a 2-3 inch lift your caster is usually like 1 degree, aftermarket UCA's should get you an extra 2 degrees of caster for a total of 3 degrees. I believe most guys go with 0 toe, 0 camber, and 3 caster for a 2-3 inch lift.

Awesome, appreciate the response. Guess I could have knocked off an additional $29 by eliminating the dif drop.

Thinking about doing the CMC this weekend and weld some plates back in. Not sure I'll ever need it though, I'm going for appearance rather than excessive wear and tear.

Just don't have the Cahoney's to start cutting, pounding and grinding yet

Anyone do 887's on a double cab and no UCA's? I work at a Toyota Dealer and we on a normal basis do the procomp 3" lift and never do UCA and they always align them in spec.

Just double checked the description on my kit, it does say that it comes with the trim pack. Hopefully that means they will install the front one since I had them preassembled?

    (1) OME trim packer to be installed on the driver side to help level your Tacoma side to side.

Emailed them earlier and the add a leafs are out of stock and won't be in until Friday or possibly Monday so no loft to tempt me this weekend.
