just called up the local stealership. from what i understand, the only options i have as far as an exhaust setup goes is if i were to buy the TRD exhaust system for $510, and $140 for them to install it at the stealership. for a total of $650.

from what im told, this is the only way to get an exhaust system and still be able to keep my warranty on my brand new 2015.....
    am i missing something here?

You can do a lot better than that price too. I want to say I paid in the low $400s for mine.

My flowmaster 50 series was $200 installed AND I had the exhaust dumped at the axle.

i could definitely install it myself, im just questioning the fact that the guy at the dealership told me that my warranty would be voided if i were to have it installed at another shop or if i were to do it myself.

thanks for the info Up2NoGood man preciate it

The warranty on the aftermarket parts installed sure, not on the truck itself.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Toyota is proud of everything they sell. A rear driveline for my truck if I got it through a dealer costs $1000 dollars.

They are triple as proud in Canada. Everything is 3x the price.
I can buy stuff from the states with +25% exchange rate, +shipping and +15% tax when it arrives, and still be cheaper than the local dealer.

2015 TRD Pro in the Garage!

Find a new dealer! I swapped out the TRD on my Pro to stock exhaust. Before I did it I checked with my local dealer and there only comment was to try to get a low miles 2015 exhaust. You can get the TRD Stuff at TRD4U Dallas for under $400. Install time is about 20 minutes, hardest part is getting the rubber hangers off, then simply 2 spring bolts (pull it out from the front side to remove it). I put a jack under my hitch and raised the rear end for a bit more room and did it on the garage floor. Dealer may be able to argue about warranty on the exhaust itself, but not the truck warranty.

That "void your warranty" crap is their favorite scare tactic. A GMC dealer once told my old roommate that if she didn't take her truck to them to have the oil changed with synthetic every 3000 miles, it would void her warranty. She was pissed when I told her the truth.

Not true in regards to exhaust setup and void warranty! Some BS!I Wanted to keep my Tacoma factory Toyota oem so that's why i went that direction. My TRD exhaust was included in the purchase of my truck at no additional charge because i exhausted the salesman until he gave in!:DWhen the exhaust was shipped/delivered to the dealership they only charged me $45 for the install so i had them just do it.Check TRDparts4U Dallas i think you can get the TRD catback exhaust between $375-$425.Don't know what they charge for shipping.Don't pay that price or listen to the stealership BS!

My dealer matched the price I found online. You could try that?
