Any other DCLB's here running the OME 885 Coil setup with Bilsteins?
How did you correct the lean while still getting the top plate spacers for the full 3"? Two spacers on one side?

My kit came with an additional spacer specifically for the taco lean. I'm running 884 + 5100s.

So did you have 3 spacers total to reach that 3" lift? or just had a spacer to correct it?

wut? The bilstein is an adjustable strut, the Coil is.. a coil (a longer than stock one at that) and the spacer is, well a spacer. A total of 1 spacer.

    Many guys here will run:

    Driver side: 5100@.85" + 885
    Passenger side: 5100@0" + 855

Spacers may push, depending on size, over 3" and you'll be too maxed out for stock UCA's. I ran the setup above and got a little under 2.75-3". Now settled to about 2.5. Spacers would have pushed me over 3"

I was referring to the need for top plate spacers to reach 3" lift but also another spacer to correct the taco lean? So i get a 1/4" spacer for each side to reach the 3", there'll still be a lean right?

OME 885 with Bilstein 5100 set at "0" both sides and a 1/4" spacer on driver side. I got almost 3" of lift. This is about a week old so will wait for some settle and re-measure. Happy with look and feel.
This is a 2013 DCLB TRD Sport.

So just one spacer is needed? or do you think after settling you'll go below 3" and that's why Toytec recommends top plate spacers to reach 3"?

I bought my parts locally (not a kit) and based on other threads here stayed away from any spacers except the one to correct the lean. Also trying to avoid further expense of UCAs. Everyone's experience seems to vary slightly but I am happy with what I ended up with. Aligned well and no UCAs.

I also have OME 885's on Billies and a 1/4" spacer on the drivers side. There is no lean on mine.

Check out my build for measurements. I wouldn't do two spacers. who cares about the lean?
I have 885's and 1/4" top plates and it got me exactly 3" of lift (billies at 0")

1/4" top plate spacers on both sides?

They should have just sold you on the 887 coils to get you to 3" and only one 1/4" spacer for the drivers side lean.

Now you got 885 coils and two 1/4" spacers which still leaves you that lean. They could have at least recommended longer studs and one 1/2" spacer for the drivers side and one 1/4" spacer for the passenger side if doing 885s, but now you're stuck with stacking spacers on the drivers side and you'll still need longer studs.

Hopefully you didn't pay for preassembly. To add the new studs they'll have to be taken apart.

I'm pretty much set on what my truck needs for a true 3" lift...11 DCSB 4X4. Billies set to 0 with 885xs and 1/4" spacers on both sides. I don't really care about the taco lean-it's completely level when I'm not in it so that's good enough. Planning on doing this in conjunction with LR UCAs prior to installing 33" tires. I want to trim as little as possible, and this setup (I believe) will be my best bet.

and why is that? replacing a spacer with a preload is the same effect. In the case of my truck, my driver side sagged more than normal. With that setup, for the past two years, I have maintained a level ride at +/- 2.8" lift, the max i would run with my stock UCA's. I don't see an issue.

Sounds good, you'll really like it.
Trimming will be affected by wheel backspacing and offset too. That plays a major role.

I read a build with someone using the same fj trail team wheels or whatever they're called and no matter what his setup, those wheel's backspacing required wheel spacers. I'm gonna install the 33"s without them to see what happens..not psyched about potentially having to use them.
