If you are referring to my skid plates they are great, no impacts yet though for what it's worth. If you are referring to the treds I haven't even taken them out yet. It has been a busy couple of weeks

how do you plan on mounting them, i know they have different mounting points then the easy Maxtrax has.

Haven't decided yet. Tred makes a set of mounting pins like maxtrax but i can't find them for sale anywhere.

    http://www.tred4x4.com/products/tred-1100-mounting-kit

I also saw a nice carrier that mounts on the rear swingout bumper that was nice as well. I will try to find the picture

I was too looking into the mounting options to determine if i should go with these or save up for maxtrax.

It looks like you will have to buy the mounting kit at full price :(

I did found other ideas for mounting that could be easily done as DIY

Yeah, even with maxtraxx I think you have to buy the pins, not sure how much they are but the TREDs are still significantly cheaper. The main reason I bought the treds was to work out a mounting system that goes with my roof racks that will fit TREDS, Element ramps, and Maxtrax. I already have the TREDs and element ramps and have a lead on some maxtrax as well.

Getting to test them all side by side is just a bonus. To be honest the smittybilt element ramps have been perfectly fine.

Yeah I am hoping to make a plate that can be mounted across any rack, has pins that fit all traction ramp types and have holes for the pins that coincide with the mounting holes of each type of ramp. That way whoever it is and whatever they have can use it, regardless of TRED, maxtrax, prinsu, front runner, baja rack etc.

If I can't figure out a solution like that for cheap I will likely do what chux did, or put them on my rear bumper swingout.

Recent Pics. Still need a few of the new rear bumper but I am working on a swingout still so I will get more when that is done. Thanks to CBI for the sliders, and rear high clearance bumper.

I went back and forth on rear bumpers for a long time. I couldn't decide between high clearance or standard. Pelfreybilt by far has the best looking standard clearance bumper around but CBI had my favorite high clearance. I actually had an order placed with pelfrey for the standard and then some bills came in and I cancelled the order to be safe and not end up in trouble money wise.

A few days later everything worked out and CBI sent me an email. They had the bushmaster in stock and ready to go and I definitely like their high clearance better than anyone else's. I went ahead and ordered now that it is on the truck I have no complaints. Install was easy and straightforward and the fit is great. I probably could have gotten away with a tighter cut on the bedslides but my front bumper moves quite a bit with the frame and I didn't want the rear to constantly be hitting the bedslides when the truck frame flexed out.

The CBI sliders are great as well. Sliders are pretty similar across the boards. A few differences here and there and it is hard to tell without seeing them in person. The stick-out and angle on the CBI sliders is perfect. The construction is spectacular, and the installation was easy with the exception of one minor fitment issue that I think is more due to toyota than anything.

Drilling the frame took less time than I thought. I had two fresh 1/2" bits, one cheap corded ryobi drill from Home Depot, and a scissor jack from my brothers civic. Took me about 30 minutes to drill the holes and I was taking it really easy.
