    Yeah, we're gonna get at it as early as we can muster out of bed. Probably going to just park it until the following week until I can get an alignment. If we don't run into any hiccups and a shop can get me in, i might try and get it knocked out. we'll see.

    Tires are in the garage with the other three wheels. Too lazy to drag it all out for the camera lol

    I'm not too sure about 2nd Gens, but 4.75" BS seems like a lot. Are you going to be running wheel spacers? I'm running 3.50 BS on the front on an 8 inch wheel and I don't have a whole lot of clearance on my UCAs, but then I'm 1st Gen, so it could be different.

    k, as long as you're confident. Just seemed like a lot to me, but then I'm not intimately familiar with 2nd Gen issues. And I suppose you have a little more clearance if you're not running a full-on 33x12.50 (or a 33x13.50 like I am--which is why I opted for 3.75" BS instead of 4").

    I did the grill craft and cut the middle out of mine.

    Been slowly working on the Satoshi version I picked up from another member on here. Gotta do a good chunk of sanding since I filled some pits. Then eventually onto paint. Maybe do that after my mini move.

    Buy a grill off craigslist & give it a shot. If you screw it up at least you'll still have your original.
    I did my Grillcraft also but it's a different process than the one you want.

    It's easier than you think. I did my grillcraft, which is a little different installation, but I still sanded down all the inner parts to leave a flush lip like you would on other mesh inserts. Grillcraft mounts from the front so you dont see it but I wanted to be thorough.

    You do need the right tools though. A dremel with plastic cutting wheels and a couple sanding barrels. I also used a utility knife to make some cuts in tight places. A few passes and it cut right through. A hand or reciprocating is too large to do some of the more detailed trimming.

    Oh, I had doubts. Turns out they fit just fine with regards to the suspension. Rubbing is another story, have to see where I'm at after the lift goes on tonight :D

    Rubbing on the frame and fenders would probably be worse with less BS though, so as long as you're clearing the UCA, it's all good.

    Yeah, I would imagine that the lift will take care of a lot of the rubbing but, any rubbing issues you're having now will still be there when you stuff the tires off-road, so you might want to make a note of those areas and do what you can to address them (trimming plastic, flattening pinch welds, etc...) when you're putting your lift on.

    It's definitely hitting plastic, but the trucks only got 3,000 miles on it so I can't really tell where it's hitting since the plastic is still pretty clean. Tools are at the ready to hack away what needs to go.

    1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
    For the bumper and fender take a razor knife. That's how I trimmed mine. The actual fender was a cut off wheel and my compressor.

    I'm hitting the front little mudflap thingy, rear corner of the fender and part of the liner. Might need to hit the pinch weld but I think I'm clear of the cab mount at least.

    Hey guys,

    Been in the area for a few months and haven't been able to make one of our local lunches. I bought my truck in San Diego with the mods, minus the snugtop. I'm experiencing a rear squeak that is embarrassing for a 2011 50k mile truck. The rear is stock, and I think it sags a bit with the added weight of the top, 150lbs. Can you guys take a look at the pics at let me when know what you think? I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff so bear with me.
