Is that 1/4 SS? How are they holding up?

It's 1/8'' SS. It's been on my truck almost 2 yrs. Still looks and performs like the day I made them.

Just to vouch for LATRD, I asked him for a pair and they were nicely done, fitting an OKLED 42" light bar. I'll have pics soon, need to pick them up from paint shop.

I just wouldn't want to forget about it if you ever park in a garage! Pretty wild.

Taking pics today of my finished product...should have them up soon with the mounts LATRD made for me.

    lel.

OK here's my pics I've been promising!

For those just joining us, LATRD made me a pair of his mounts. Just finished the install...did a minor write up over here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/li...ht-bar-finished-install-pics.html#post9728388

    Pics:

    Looking ready to go!

OK - So I have not tack sealed the wire and it snuck out of the guide between the windshield and a-pillar - this will be fixed but yea the wire is not too pretty in this shot!

Nice close up of the mounts made by 'LATRD' - Thanks man!

    Fixed that stupid wire!

Future spot of a 30" bar!

I welded the top part that already had holes that I bought from ace hardware and I mounted on that.. Everyone seems to go with the above the windshield mount so I wanted a diff placement..And zip ties? If I'm mounting somethin I'm bolting it on or welding it..

The brackets I make are all the same. He just figured a way to attach them on an access cab. They were designed for double cab factory roof rack bolt mounting holes. If anybody has questions or is looking for a pair call me

    Thanks,

Yea...I didn't know they were for the 4 door...I just made it work.

I marked and drilled my own holes where I liked the placement using a step drill. I had to pull down the headliner a bit inside to secure the bolts.

I can go into more details if you'd like but the mounts he makes fit right in the track whether 4 door or access cab.

no need to ask to disclose the info just go buy some 18g flat stock a few hole saws grinder and belt sander vise or a brake and you could have these figured out and built in only a couple of hours tops its not that hard to figure out since you do have pictures to go by... i loved this idea and sorry to the guy that sells them but i'm a cheap ass so i'll build them myself and will have the same quality or better
