Got my new roof rack installed. Bolted down a spare water proof rifle case for my recovery gear and odds and ends i carry around.

 

If you get one, and need help, let me know. It's pretty simple, and I can bring my truck over so you can look at the way I ran the wires. Had mine for about 6 months now and love it. Zero issues.

Anybody in the area interested in trading their black rear bumper for a chrome one? I've got a 2012. I'd throw in some cash for the trade. I also have a chrome custom grill for sale.

That is a nice bumper and the one I've been considering and then I ran across this guy at a gas station that had all the coolest accessories in his tacoma I've ever wanted and some I've never heard of... Here is a picture of a custom bumper guard he had put together. He introduced himself as the same name as mine and I thought he was screwing with me but we just happen to have the same name..

 

any way my thoughts on why I liked this bumper guard were that I've been considering a cheapie bull bar but they're a dime a dozen and super weak. I thought this might be a semi stronger, however more expensive, less common alternative. It's like a miniature version of aubi1414's badass new bumper.

To me a bull bar or push bar is just that. I see them more or less used to push someone or something out of the way or use it for a light mount. It really depends what it is bolted too and what the tubes are made out of. Just my .02.

When are we getting together next? Can't we just meet at a Taco Bell or something one night and talk about our trucks or something simple? Then maybe plan an adventure from there? Tacos and tacomas...?

 

Well what do you all think about having a Taco Tuesday, or Tacoma Thursday, once a month? So we can at least get together an BS a bit. I've been too freakishly busy to try and schedule a new meet for wheeling yet.
