    I was speaking of steel and aluminum skids on the market. You are correct, there isn't anyone making UHMW IFS, transmission, or transfer case skids for our trucks.

    Question for you - have you tested this long term on the tanks(1year)? The one I made for my truck is starting to sag in the middle between the supports, from lack of support. Its less than an inch but just curious. I could see it happening on yours between the bolts and 1st strap

    What material did you use? I have had my skid on for about three months now and haven't had an issues. If you're has sagged that much have you considered re drilling the holes?

    Ok, all of the skids that are heading out of Houston shipped out this morning. I'll be sending out tracking numbers later this afternoon.

    Please let me know if there are any issues when the skids show up. The install is pretty simple, but I'll put up some instructions shortly.

    Running 1/2" hdpe, 5 supports. Its sagging in the middle... just curious since not a lot of people run plastics. Havnt crawled under there to remedy it, just noticed the other day. Pretty sure I have a lot more space between the supports than the Yota's. Thanks

    That's right, I remember. You have a perimeter skeleton with the material spanning in between. Any thought to the engine heating the HDPE up over time? With airflow over the skid it shouldn't happen, but it's a thought.

    With the straps on my skid constantly pulling in tension I don't see them moving. The straps can always be tightened if it does sag.

    I do have it away from all hot stuff, the only spot I couldnt help was near the exhaust crossover. There I did a span of steel, and a small gap so the plastic wouldnt melt... works so far.
