I received my new coil overs, Bilstein 5100's with Toytec coils, and the lower eyelet is not perpendicular to the upper shock mount. The instructions say to put the upper in first then the lower, but the lower eyelet is about 15 degrees off so it will not slide into the lower shock mount on the LCA. Is there a way to turn the lower eyelet? if there is not a way, will Toytec send me a new coil over that is lined up correctly?

An easy fix is to place a nice and beefy screwdriver (the longer the better) through the lower eyelet and rotate it so it lines up. Just make sure the Top is bolted up first so you don't have to try and hold it from rotating.

Try this out and report back

FYI this won't harm anything but you just might bend that screw driver ;)

    Edit:
If you have a spare ubolt handy you can insert one end into the hole (should be a snug fit) and rotate. The ubolt won't bend like a screwdriver will. If it gets stubborn, a rubber mallet works great, just give the ubolt/screwdriver a crack. Still being picky, W-D 40 the lower spring seat on the coilover to allow it to rotate easier.
