    Differential drop kit by itself does not affect alignment.

    Shop just called and wanted to make sure on the 3 degree caster said it would put it in the red I said yes that's fine

    Well, as long as camber and toe are zero you should be good. Can't have too much caster, right?

    Just wondering if the increased caster of around 3 also has any noticeable increase in the effort to steer / turn the truck?

    As caster increases, the truck feels more directionally stable.

    As caster decreases, the truck feels more "twitchy"

    I bet no one can "feel" a difference between 2.5 and 3.

    It's hard to find a good alignment shop around here that is willing to adjust caster, camber, and toe numbers outside of their computer. I had one earlier today say " It's $69.95 and up if we have to change anything." What does that mean? "If we have to adjust camber, it will cost more." :facepalm:

    I got the lifetime alignment at Firestone and it's paid for itself many times over. I changed up my suspension setup 6 times within 2 weeks..... Needless to say I am known as "that guy" at my local firestone hahaha.

    That's kind of dumb. I'd bring my truck in to get aligned only when I knew it needed it...


    Yea, was going to get the lifetime one, but the techs who worked there barely knew what they were doing soooo...not letting them align it again..

    Dropped my Toy off to have my new LRs installed and aligned! Same guy did my last ones 5 years ago! We "played" with the effects of "D" vs. "E"! He knows what I want with alignment numbers and "gets it"!

    I get it back tomorrow! Our only fear is if the cams are frozen/rusted in place!

    Oh that sounds good! Let us know. I plan on using it on "d"in the end. Not sure where the camber adjustment will end up, let us know on that too.
