Custom Emblems by Metalmiller

Anything yet? Almost another month has gone by.

 

This is the post I wanted to quote. Would like some type of response.

 

I opened a paypal complaint against him see if I get my money back .he Told me my emblem was at powdercoating that I would get it before the complaint went through

 

Got a refund from him today .said he will send me a pic when it is finished I can pay than if I want it

 

Should be free, glad you got your money back but it still should be free.

 

Agreed...If it's taken this long for him just to do that. I wouldn't trust him anymore. Who's to say he won't just hold on to your money again and get busy and you end up waiting even longer for it just to ship.

 

Glad to see you got your money back at least. I'm just going to see if he can stay true to his word and deliver some side badges to me. I think I'll give him one more month and then take actions.

 

Dang, sounds like a real crappy deal for some of you. I ordered 2 identical custom emblems in May 2014 and had them on my doorstep sometime in August 2014. I ordered bare steel, no finishes or powder coat or anything. I ordered about the time I started seeing some posts about lack of communication. Hope he can take care of you guys because he did right by me...

 

He says he's correcting his mistakes- only time will tell

 

Any updates on this???

 

Figured if he was really trying to fix all the issues somebody would've gotten something by now

Just boogles my mind really. Comes back to the forum asking for forgiveness and understanding in the delays and people not receiving product. Promises that will change and then nothing......but still has time to sell crap on eBay. Hopefully people will just stop buying from this guy all together

 

Well guys, I finally received my skid plate last week. I ordered back in October of 2014.
Besides the constant delays, and the thought of him disappearing all together, I must say it looks great on my truck. The two rear holes in the back were off a good bit and had to cut and adjust them myself, but all in all I'm satisfied with the skid. Here she is....

Still waiting for side badges and still waiting for some form of acknowledgement that he's sending them now or if I need to take legal actions. If it comes to legal actions I may need help collecting information from individuals in terms of how much money they have lost to him- I'm hoping the numbers will be big enough that it becomes a bigger penalty and possibly jail time. Next step is to go to the other forums to find out how much they have lost and then a lawyer. I'm done playing around!

 

Has anyone else used the "theft by deception" law regarding internet purchases to go after individuals who do not produce a product that was paid for in advance? I find it amazing that people think that if someone steals from their business that the individual gets arrested for theft and yet they think that if the business takes money without giving a product that the law does not apply to them. I have news for you Metalmiller you are in for a fight if I do not see my emblems within the next two weeks!
