    It was totally brutal.
    I am not convinced however that Byfuglien meant to directly contact him in the neck. I think it is much more likely his idea was to hit him across the shoulders. It is a pretty common play used by players to keep guys on the ice once they fall.

    Regardless what actually happened was brutal. 4 games is easily appropriate, just seems high for what the NHL typically gives to first time offenders

    I think the League is saying black and white this is reg season. Even though it's playoff "like" since the Jets are fighting for a spot, Buff still gets 4. I'd love to see the Jets in the playoffs because that building will crumble from all the noise.
