There's a crawfish boil at work.

Although it extends into after work hours.

But I have to ride 40 miles after work.

Well. It's either 40 tonight, or ride solo 70 miles with the 15mph crosswinds before I head down to see the family.

 

Why not both?

 

Or just don't ride bicycles? Knowing a few people that do it, I have made up my mind that that sport takes up way way way too much time. Not buying a road bike.

Plus I don't want to be that old uptight white bike guy who wears too tight bike clothes with pouches on them. That guy who then bitches about cars driving on the road, as if two lane roads were designed for the bikes and cars are interlopers.

I've got enough other things to do IMO.

The holiday is on Sunday. I'm working today. I think Amy and I are getting brunch somewhere, and then hopefully I have time in the afternoon to work on the truck. And also watch Aliens, because eggs.

I was thinking Gooses Acre in the woodlands. It's a little bit of a drive, but the food is great, it's on the water, and it has good beer selections. But I'll see what Amy feels up for. She's been sick the last few days.

 

Haven't been to that one, il have to try it out. I have been to Jasper's in market street and it was pretty good, I just avoid the woodlands at all costs lol I would rather drive to houston

 

We usually get there around Sunday morning at 9am, and just walk around. No traffic, no crowds, and a ton of parking.

 

I could see that being worthwhile
