The JBAs are more $$ and are not adjustable
Maybe he likes the color of the JBA

    Thx.

Color is okay by me :D. I think they are stronger based on the images I saw.

    • Beefy construction,
    • lifetime warranty,
    • easily obtainable replacement parts.
    Also,

    • I've seen some broken LR UCA's...
    • While the LR UCA is nice for adjustability, I don't think It's necessary for the alignment numbers I want i.e. 0,0,2.5, etc.
    • LR UCA's are less cost, so there is an advantage there...

I think they are both good options.

    I will try them.

I was reading the JBA UCA thread on here and I personally don't get how the Moog balljoint nor the OEM bushings are any easier to get than the LR UCA balljoint or LR UCA SpecRide bushings you can buy seperately

Not bashing the JBA product at all , just that " advantage " didn't seem like that much of an advantage at all

    ^Makes sense to me. :)

Is the LR UCA ball joint greasable? The JBA moog ball joint is serviceable with a zerk grease fitting, so that's desirable for me.

Allright. Got all the goods ordered. :bananadance: I ended up using four different vendors to save on cost. I hope they, and the freight carriers, do their jobs right.

In a few weeks I'm going to dig a grave and bury my old suspension.

Negative arch for the win  (truck is unloaded, no passengers).

That was with stock 265/70/16 tires. And the rear was just shy of 3 inches of lift, front about 2.5 inches.

So I'm a total newb at this so I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. I've got a 2012 DCSB with no armor and will be getting the complete emu lift from wheelers with sport shocks, 887s, u bolt flip, dakars etc. I am also getting LR uca for it. Is there anything else I might need such as the extra leaf for the dakars or bump stops?

When you say, alignment numbers you "want", could you please explain. I recently got an alignment at the dealer and did not quite hit those specs (posted below). Could my alignment have been done "better"?

    Your alignment is good.

After I put my new suspension on, I'm going to bring it to the alignment shop and tell them I want:

    • "0" Camber
    • "0" Toe
    • About 2.2 Caster
Generally speaking camber and toe misalignment is what wears out tires fast, so you'll want those as close to "0" as possible.

Copy that! Thanks. Don't want to be screwing up these new shoes.

I was really impressed with how fast they filled and shipped my order... Too bad they screwed my order to hell and back!

I ordered 60091 rears... I knew something was wrong when I took them out of the box and they had ring bushing mounts on both ends! Look at the box and it turns out they sent me 60097 shocks!

On the fronts, I ordered sku OMEN140s Nitrocharger shocks. And they sent me sku OME90000 Nitrocharger Sport shocks.

On the Dakar leafs, I received two (-) leafs... I was expecting to receive a (+), or at least a (o) to combat Taco lean. Will two (-) leafs be an issue? Should I send one back and ask for a (+) or an (o)?

    Damn it!!!

Installed my kit this weekend and picked up new wheels/tires on Monday. Super happy with the kit so far. Went with 887 no spacers, 90021, Dakar, Light Racing UCA, CB drop, ProComp 7032, and Duratrac 265/75/r16. Got roughly 3" all around.

I have a ridiculously small vibration from 8-12MPH. I have to be paying extremely close attention to notice it. Thinking I need a 3 Degree shim. Opinions?

Also, seeing some steering wheel vibration at 70mph. Think my tires weren't balanced well.
