    I didn't cut the crossbars but there is some overhang (nothing obnoxious). And I based where I drilled (width of track) on where the honeycomb reinforcement is on the ceiling.

    Is there a way I can call you? I have my truck at a shop and they are saying the the tracks arent level on the shell.

    so the tracks are already installed and are not a consistent distance from eachother (i.e. parallel)? Or are they saying that the uninstalled tracks are do not lay flat on the shell?

    They are saying that the uninstalled tracks aren't laying flat due to the contour of the cap. I had them continue on with the install. I had to talk to the guy at prorac. He said the tracks are suppose to flex and they put those tracks on vans and a bunch of other shells. I hope that are dealer didn't fuck up my shell

    Sounds like they got it figured out. Yes the tracks do contour to the roof line. Mine fits and works great.

    Prorac said it would work were the are dealer said it wouldn't. When I pulled the tracks from the box there was zero contour in them. Were yours like that?

    Honestly don't remember them having a preset contour. But I do remember them to be limber enough to conform to the contour of the roof.
