    It's going pretty good Susan. I started working first shift this week, I was on second for a month, then half first, half second for another month while I was training. Couldn't wait to be on my own, I really prefer to work alone and figure out problems without someone looking over my shoulder. The job is fine so far, not really all that challenging, but that is kind of what I was looking for. I hope things are good with you, I don't really post a lot lately, but I generally keep up with this thread daily. Seems like when I do post, I tend to ramble!:D

    I know. I like hanging out, working on stuff. Its the only thing that dad and I can do without mom butting in. Mom and I have our girl stuff to do too but garage time is the only thing dad and I have.

    good to get that stuff done before hand...

    Morgan has a list that needs to be done... 60K maintenance, change serpentine belt and hoses, tranny flush, clay bar, seal and wax....

    Dad did wood working and only got to do a small bit with him. He did amazing work. I have a buffet, dining table, tv/stereo cabinet and chest he made. Wished he had started sooner. Joined the AF and left home shortly after I graduated high school. He was always so busy working. We would watch movies on Sundays, work in the garden, and hang out.

    With mom, we'd go shopping a little. She had bad knees and she couldn't do much. We'd mainly just hang out.

    Dad does some woodworking too. But hes almost too meticulous- drives me crazy. Cant do that with him. :laugh:
    Thats awesome that you've got some of your dad's pieces. Definitely worth holding on too! Hope you plan on handing those down your sons or grand kiddos

    Same here. Back from the gym and getting gas for the Tacoma. Also stopped at the liquor store for some beer and wine. The family is over for dinner tomorrow.

    I will be taking some finished pictures of the kitchen today, with my SLR, and post them up.

    Only one last item to come in, 3 glass shelves for the glass front cabinet.

    Laundry room is complete and functional. Still need to do the cleaning closet and downstairs powder room.
