Added some energy suspension adjustable endlinks to my Amazon order. Getting closer to the sway bar swap. May consider cutting another spindle. Cut it even lower and flipping and relocating the tie rod. Going to try weld it to the spindle spacer or the front spindle leg. Would help correct the extreme angle on the tie rod. Airlift kit supposed to be delivered today.

Next silly idea is to install an xrunner body kit. Minus the cab side skirts. Going to try see what it'll be like with running boards in place of the side skirts. Probably paint it body color. We'll see, that's way down the line unless anyone knows where to get a kit cheap.

Forgot to add that tundra racing got back to me, they do make rear spacers to add to their rear axle blocks. Typically 1/2" but they'll make it whatever size you want. Trying to find someplace to make my new spindle spacer for me to weld the tie rod mount to. The front spacer, rear block and sway bar relocate mount are my current projects. No sense install the bags till I get everything else squared away.

Been a while since I worked on the truck. mostly just did lighting stuff. got some hid's last year.

picked up vled tritons this year. front and back. made a harness for them so the turn markers illuminate white with the reverse lights as well as illuminate the reverse lights with the turn signal. a little too bright at night for other drivers so I'm planning to have them cut out when the headlights are out via relay.

tied my parking lights into my turn marker in the front so they flash too. they flash opposite of the blinkers so it looks pretty neat. felt like I found a way to make use of that light. now it actually is visible to someone along side you a couple lanes over.

Took the plunge and got some coilovers. Made a call to xii performance again. Of course they're to short because they're for xrunners but we're going to try to mount an extension. Will be posting pics of the process. Surprisingly so far everything else seems to be compatible. Pretty excited.

Was trying to wrap up my helper bags and decided the airlift kit (59564) ain't going to work. I had done some major modifications (cutting, grinding and welding) to the lower plate and it's still not close. Decided to ditch that route and try another. As of right now the airlift kit will not work with the tundra racing kit unless you flat out plan to fabricate new components.

Looked up air ride tech and am going to try their universal bolt on kit. Gonna need to drill a bunch of holes in the frame but I'm hopeful this will work out better.

Yea...looked under truck to see what options there is and not much between axle and frame.. Was thinking of putting on lift leafs and using factory rear shackles but lot of money out there if height not perfect. looking forward to see how it works out.

Torspd is running factory rear shackles but he had to ditch the tundra racing blocks. He replaced those blocks with a weld on perch which would take me down the road of no return. The welding didnt bother me but to return the truck to stock would be more than just bolt ons.

Got ahold of some 3 leaf springs and got around to installing them. Also threw on the airbags to see how they look.

Install went pretty smooth. No actual problems. I did change out the rear bushings on the leafs just because I had the energy suspension ones.

The current setup for the bags:
    airlift kit 59564
I am using everything except the bottom plate. I thought it couldn't be salvaged but its working so far.
    Ridetech
    2.5"leaf bottom plate
I bought the whole damn kit and ended up only using the bottom plate. but good news for anyone else. they sell the plate separate.

    Issues
The leafs brought back about an inch of height so I'm debating the best solution. I'd like to add a 1" block but there's a bunch of issues. I'm not sure how low the springs will end up and I'm going to have to pick up longer u-bolts. it will also bring the sway bar very close to the bags.

The bags currently aren't long enough to lift the truck by the frame. if I take the truck to get work done I'm going to have to remember to remove the bags. I can't use a plain free floating bag and cup setup because there isn't enough room. I have an idea similar to that but I gotta see how much room I got.

I still haven't put in the coilovers in the front so I'm probably not going to mess around with the rear too much until then. planning to put some miles on this setup first to see how it runs.

No, changed things up at the last minute. those are the airlift 59564 kit minus the lower brackets. the lower brackets are from the ridetech universal 2.5" leaf kit but are available by themselves. only problem is that you need to remove them if lifting the truck by the frame. the bags don't have the overall length needed for the amount of travel in the suspension. going to end up with ripped bags.

Everything in the ridetech kit aside from the bottom brackets didn't fit for my setup. either interfering with the sway bar or the driver's side shock mount. the bags were better quality than the airlift but couldn't work. was bummed.

Lemme know if you decide to kurt. We can measure and double check first since you're running a different sway bar.

Couldn't install the coilovers because their overall length was too short. Came up with a solution (which we haven't tried yet) and one of the local TW machining specialists cleaned up the design and fabbed it up. So here they are assembled and ready to install.

Nice .Solid looking set up. Is that the llV performance coilovers?
