    The initial area they found the frame hole was in my body mount they did say that if the areas of rust was near the welded frame areas i could have ran into trouble. And sliders are almost a 100% definite need. Im selling my truck and Id prefer to show a brand new untouched frame at this point.. Really wanting a short bed i love my truck so it really sucks just want it to have a better wheelbase.

    One slider getting hacked up! Got called into work, a boiler tripped out so I decided to stick around and hack these babies up!

    Just a heads up, because i did it and ive seen other do it with weld on sliders make sure you dont weld them right close to the cab otherwise when you use them as a slider they might flex a tiny bit and push in your seem welds where the feet are. I also saw someone do it with a heavily angled slider and they couldnt open there doors. that was actually pretty funny for me though.

    Thanks Shane! Yeah, I never really thought of that! I was going to mount them a little lower so the girlfriend could use them to get in and out.

    Plus I'm going to gusset the mounting foot as well! Hopefully very little flex!
