Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
You can't reuse stock ubolts for a flip anyway. They don't fit around the axle properly

Anyone on here with the Dakar pack WITH AAL have a u bolt flip? Im looking to see what length u bolts Ill need for when I do the u bolt flip. Im wondering if my local hardware store has them and would be cheaper to get those separately and get relentless plates.

I think it depends on your usage, slow vs fast. Timberens for the speedy whoops/light jumps and superbumps for slower mtn wheelin. I'd say we mostly fall in the latter not living in the desert... but then again eastern WA may offer some of that. I swore I was in a Utah last time I was out there... had no idea WA was so arid.

You can get the u-bolts from Wheelers as well if you like, just specify the length.
I'm probably looking at the Wheeler's bumps as well, but how do you measure for them? Mid travel forum won't tell me anything since they aren't air bumps, lol.

Find out your compressed shock length. You want your bump stops to be fully compressed with 1/2" of shock travel left.

I forgot my Chevy 63 swap comes with new Ubolts and the flip so no worries.

My theory was finding the point where the spring would be flat, then adding a certain amount of distance based on how much you think the bump will compress. Why I think this is because I believe that shocks are short enough that they can compress more than your spring needs them to, and therefore you are trying to combat negative arch.
Since poly/rubber bumpstops don't have a definitive compression factor (and don't get tested for it), there's a certain amount of guesswork, but I'm trying to reduce the guesswork.

and NO, I don't want to spend an extra grand on air bumps

Ah I see, that is a good plan, negative arch is bad. I'm dealing with the same bumpstop compression factor as you. Wish I knew their compressed length. I'm going to pick my front tire up with the forklift and try to put all the weight on the back bumpstop for maximum compression come testing time.

Hmm, that is an idea. Buy the bumps, do the forklift thing and measure, then buy bump spacers as needed.
If you get the length of that compressed bumpstop, PLEASE inform me. I don't have a forklift :p

Looking to take the family to Oregon this summer for vacation. Maybe stop by and see the jail house from Goonies in Astoria. Any other places that must be seen Scenic or otherwise? Maybe some fishing and camping. Might stop by Bend to visit the wife's sister.

If you end up going to Bend, Smith Rock state park is pretty cool. Multnomah falls in the gorge is super cool. (30 or so minutes east of portland) there are also a ton of cool falls and hiking places around that area too. I really like the log jam, I think it's called Oneonta falls. Beacon rock is another cool scenic area.

So I was at my local dealership getting the toyota care oil crap done and noticed a 15 runner that had a 3" spacer lift with rims and tires and along with a basket. Pretty sure it was a premium that had nav. They wanted 42000 for it. Am I crazy for thinking that's way over priced??? My wife is blowing me up to trade in my tacoma...

4Runners are more expensive than Tacomas but IMO they shouldn't be that much. Plus those are the federal MT tires, the loudest tires you can put on a truck. When I was looking at 4Runners they were about $34k-$37k for a limited
