I trimmed my front mudflaps four inches, added the tailgate C-clamp mod with heat shrink tubing for my own piece of mind and installed my Redline Elite quicklift hood struts. Now if it would warm up. Sorry no pics yet as its beer-thirty.....

Are the hood struts worth it? I stopped looking at them once I saw you have to drill holes in the hood. I'm rustophobic.

I like them but am a little concerned with rust as well. Thinking of using some sort of caulk around the mounts to protect them maybe. Not sure if it was wise since I live in Michigan and they salt like crazy in the winter. I do like the custom touch they provide and it's cool watching your hood go up own its own for what it's worth.

Purchased a new Bedrug and installed last night. Super easy install and did it almost completely blind as it was very dark out and I only had my crappy leer shell light. I definitely need to install some better lights back there. I left my forward cubbies covered as I don't use them.

Ordered the DAC Full Size Truck Tent; can't wait to get this thing in and try it out:
Wasn't today, but picked up a Leer 180 on my trip to NJ/PA/MD last month. It is the wrong color but I have been searching for a mid rise cap to fit my bikes and this was WAY cheaper than buying from a dealer. Now I have to decide if I am going to color match it or use that money for other mods/upgrades.

Yeah, maybe. I put them on the almost lowest rack and I was good. For the cheapest lens option go here:

I've done 270 for 7 mins twice and TRS recommended it so it worked for me. However I'm always open to new ways, how long do you leave the headlights in?

I like that bedrug, how much did it cost you? Did you have to do any cutting for it?

You can also get the Bedrug as a mat.

Tore off and corrected my fog lights and the absolutely awful wiring job the previous owner had done. (Relays not mounted amd knocking against fan, wiring nuts everywhere, and somehow 6 separate grounding wires).

I am big on hiding as much of the wiring as possible, pictures are of what I came up with for the mount. Tackling the engine bay wiring for the fogs tomorrow.

I paid $379 on Amazon.com (It is now $414) and had it at my house in less than three days with free shipping. BRY13DCK

Installation was very easy. Just make sure the bed is clean first and have a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a rag handy. The holes for the storage compartments are pre-cut. Just remove them and reinstall after Bedrug is in. I also removed the front loops on the side wall and poked holes for those bolts to go through and reinstalled.

Some people cut holes for those little cubbies up front but I didn't want them and I have heard they don't fit right after removing and installing through Bedrug.

    Just a few LEDs...
About ten minutes and I positioned the oven rack so the lights would be in the center of the oven.

$400 to line the box with carpet???? !!!! Wow... good deal! Do you actually need carpet in the box?

I would like to remind you that this is a truck, not a man cave.

I throw fire wood, chain saws, power tools, scrap metal, yard debris, lumber, various other tools when needed, yard and construction implements, soil, gravel, greasy engine parts, the neighbours' hounds when they wander over, goats, sheep, some are alive and some dead, deer/bear/moose/water fowl carcasses after a hunt, I clean fish on the tailgate, fresh road kill for the frying pan, old road kill for the compost, drunken puking buddies, and sometimes actual manure/shit in my box...

I bleached and pressure washed my truck box today. The $75 rubber mat looks great. You can eat off of it!

    You should buy an Audi.

Thanks Taczilla I'll go out and do that today. Just find me the model that has all the off road capabilities of our truck, will let me haul a couple tons of gravel, will tow everything I need and can serve as my house when needed.
