My 2013 doesn't have the turn signal mirrors and I would like to add them.
Is the wire already in the door like most Toyota add ons?
    Thanks

I have a 12. The wires for the turn signals for the mirror are there.

Here a picture where the signal wire stops inside the door at a plug.

The '14 is the same as the '12, so I'd say you're safe that they are there.

EDIT: Actually, I put them in my '13 too, when I had it still.

My 14 TRD OR has the wires in the door but they are not functional. I'm looking for the best place to connect myself.

    This.
Same situation with my 13 TRD OR.

The wiring is in the door, but isn't getting signal / power.
It's not as simple as just a missing fuse / relay, as IIRC, the connecting wiring is missing in the wiring harness inside the cab.

In my 12 the signal wires were functional. Maybe there is a plug under the dash that needs to be connected.

My 14 is missing the wiring that. Connects to the plug on fuse box. I checked with volt meter while signals are on and found where they go but they aren't there.

I ended up installing a new wire from the mirror, through the door and wire tube into the engine compartment where I then tapped the turn signal wire a few inches behind the daytime running light. I couldn't find anywhere to make the factory turn signal harness in the door active. So now the mirror turn signal light works as both a turn signal and also lights up as a DRL.

Sounds easy enough, do they come with the bulbs? Are they replaceable with LEDs? Thank you for the post, been wanting to add these signal mirrors.

Purchased TYC brand mirrors w/turn signals in the link above, they are really good quality. But I have a 2012 OR and unfortunately the wires are there, but no signal. So I'll just have to wire them thru the cab into the engine compartment and connect to the turn signals. A bit more work than I wanted to do, but I'll get it done.

Gabe, how are your TYC mirrors doing? I was looking at these on eBay, but of course hesitant to buy because they aren't OEM. I would love to get these and save a buttload of money though. What are your thoughts with these so far? Can you really tell that they aren't OEM?

Terrible, I personally do not recommend them at all. They did not fit flush with the doors, a subsequently would not provide a seal and would allow water to seep into the doors. So if not too late, avoid these. I returned them. Save for OEM.

Thank you Gabe! Well that makes my decision easy then. Did you get the OEM's yet? If so can I ask how much you paid? eBay has them for $480 and that's the only place I can find them besides the dealership.

No problem bro. Glad you didn't buy them yet. And I haven't purchased the OEMs. Hopefully those will be checked off on my 2016 summertime mods list, along with the TRD Pro/Baja black headlight replacements and a color matched rear number.
