Lots of concrete used in construction here in Ecuador. Instead of barbed wire, a lot of people use broken glass on the tops of walls to deter people from hopping them. Makes the walls very interesting!

Marc I would really like to see one of those markers someday. Used to spend a lot of time playing Oregon Trail with my sons years ago when they were much younger. The other CD that Mac came with was Mayo Clinic The Body. First time I had ever heard of Mayo Clinic.

Another Cement and Glass, with cell phone camera. The porte-cochère at Mayo Clinic St. Mary's Hospital Campus main entrance this morning. Not a great picture but a good excuse to use the word porte-cochère :)

    New challenge!

This one will be a bit hard but pretty cool.

    Contrasting subject.

Needs at least two subjects that contrast. Life amounts death. New and old. Ect. Ect.

    Go!

Technically it was monday but the challenge hadn't been posted. IIRC the rule is the challenge has to be posted first.

I certainly hope there are more that post for this challenge than me. I miss the old timers that used to post which have taught me a lot. Then again I am surprised by how much the young bucks here have taught me but I shouldn't be surprised LOL.

My youngest Toller turned 5 months old today. My oldest Toller is reaching his end of life, he has beat the odds to live as long as he as. But his quality of life is not even close to what it used it be. His winter hair is still on and long, rough and tough doesn't even begin to describe his gnarly coat. Last fall he likely chased down his last ruff grouse and he was too old to take to SD for phez. The puppy breath from the younger Toller has likely added a lot of time to his life already.

The young and old both supervised me grilling splatcock chicken on the Weber charcoal grill on the deck today.
