That takes too much time in the morning when there's four of us getting ready for a 15 mile hike. Maybe we'll try one of those methods if we get an open morning sometime.

Used the outlet to power the shop-vac to get all the sand out of the bed pre Bed Mat mod.

I'm going to start using the outlet a lot more this next week. Road tripping from Oregon down to AZ!!!

Use mine for my soldering gun mostly. Very convenient, as I can solder anywhere now.

I guess I'm a pretty boy, packing an electric razor that I run off the inverter. I run a Wahl hair cutter also, I like buzzcut hair and keep it to 1/4 inch no matter now long I'm out camping.

I have used it a few times with my AC air pump which is much more potent then the foolish DC varieties. I move boats a lot living on the lake and always carry the pump and extension cord. I have used it 6 times in the last 7 months. I am going camping this summer and putting a home airmatress in the bed with a built in AC compressor. I also have a rope cutter that I keep with me for searing rope ends. I sail in a yacht club and the truck outlet does come in handy. As much as anything, it's a little insurance for most.

I guess for us that don't have this luxury, we just need to get a DC/AC converter in the cab? Is it difficult to add power outlet if it isn't there?

Some devices may require a true sine wave inverter. More expensive, but worth it when needed.
