    I'm just asking you questions

so "attack on values" rather than a move away from religion, my questions are still relevant- why do you think so?

Its complicated. As the law is written, yes. How its worked around:

1st there is a clause in the health care law that states anyone under government health care must pay a $1 surge charge and may not know what that dollar is used for (hint, its used for funding abortions).

2nd, Government distributes funds via the states. Therefore abortion funds from the government are essentially laundered through the state and fund abortions on a state by state basis.

3rd, the current administration lifted the ban on government funding of foreign based abortion clinics/providers and provide funding there directly.

As Jonathan Gruber so tactfully points out, government health care (and many more laws Im assuming) are passed because people of stupid.

Perhaps, but even in MA (the first state to legalize same sex marriage), employers still choose to offer the domestic partner (same and/or opposite sex, employer decides).

    I guess not.

But current law still mandates the hidden hidden surge charge that forces you to pay for abortions through your insurance form the state run exchanges. And prohibits you from knowing that you are paying weather you want to or not.

So you are right, the government does not directly pay for abortions. It launders its dirty work through expertly written legislation to force other entities to do it for them.

Without putting words in your mouth , your stance on the possible uses of the surcharge would mean you would be against women having access to abortions even in the event of rape or incest ?

Nope. Slavery was done away with when the Mosaic law was done away with - when Christ sacrificed his life and fulfilled that law. Besides, slavery under the Mosaic law was voluntary (more like an indentured servant). At the Jubilee (every 7th year) the person was set free.

I really think that before someone starts making derogatory statements about something, they should at least be informed and not simply repeat what someone told them that someone else told that person about something they heard. At the very least, is it too much to ask that we drop the sarcasm and stick with the facts?

Yes I am but that's a different argument.

Currently Im just against paying for it.

So here's how I think it should be if I hypothetically believed killing babies was ok.

If you opt for the abortion coverage, you pay for the abortion coverage. If you opt for no abortion coverage, you pay for no abortion coverage.

As the law is written: If you are covered under the government health care system, you have to pay for abortions weather you want to or not. And you are not allowed to know about it.

Which of the two options do you think is ok?

I think women should have access to abortions especially in cases of rape or incest .

Even in a legitimate rape the woman's body doesn't have ways of trying to shut that down

Explain yourself, why do you think that things haven't changed for the worse, or is everything just fine for you?
Do you think people have more or less respect for each other now than say 50yrs ago?
