For all the 255/85/16 guys, did you have any issues with rubbing? I've got 2.5 inches of Icon lift up front and 3 inches of Dakar in the rear with TC UCA's up front. One thing that pushed me away from the 285/75 was how much work you have to do to get them to fit right. The ST Maxx looks really good in a 255/85 from what I've seen but I just don't want to dump a grand on these things and then go "wow that looks really skinny and retarded" haha performance wise they seem to be a good fit for the kind of off roading I do but at the same time I'd rather not look ridiculous while doing it. Any thoughts would be great. I've all but decided on the ST Maxx's, just debating on size. Running the stock OR 16 wheels as well.

I have a few pics on my build page from the front and back. They don't look skinny. I really like the look. I have spacers though (1.25)
I rub my flaps at 3" but no issues when they are off.

While conducting my search for tires, I too was afraid of the "too skinny of a look" that is commonly found with other brands, and that was when I came across the ST Maxx, after cross-referencing a few pics and reviews, I was sold!!! It's a tad bit wider than the rest, but still skinnier than the 285's.

So i have a 3" lift, with SPC UCA's (set at +1) and i did have to remove the mudflaps and trim the inside of the fender. However, in reverse it rubs on the body mount :( so looks like a chop is due...
