Yep, I've known Bob for a while now.

Count me in on a trail run.

I'll have to check out your RTT. Been looking at one for elk camp next year.

For sure. I've already changed a few things out on it. Headers, exhaust, CAI, stereo, got a set of retro'd headlights. My wet okole seat covers should be here tuesday. Getting ready for a bhlm and some mini d2s projector retrofits with my old housings.

Only had it a month and its become my new money pit. I should do some of the wiring mods (locker anytime, 400watt anytime). Those seem to be a lot cheaper. Soon I'll stop throwing money at it. Maybe once I hit the bluebook value.

I know what you mean. I'm going to have to check out the CAI and headers, that's the next on my list. When you decide to do the locker and 400w anytime mods let me know! I'm down to do them as well.

Maybe you can help me figure out what lift mine has on it, I'm clearing 285/70r 17's. It looks stock underneath except for a leveling kit puck in the front

I need to move sliders up my mod/todo list. I ran a portion of Elbe a few weekends ago and was paranoid about something popping up and tearing into my rocker panels.

Welcome to the party! Tell us about your tacoma! what are your plans for it? I'm new here myself, just picked up my tacoma in February. loving it so far. already put bigger more offroady tires on it.

I would agree with this statement. I would also move that we should have a gathering somewhere, that involves food. Like a park, and a BBQ should be involved.

I have access to a tubing bender and a TIG/MIG setup. We should try and brainstorm some ideas about DIY sliders

    2011, 6spd, fully loaded. 18,430 miles

I'd like to eventuall swap out the XD wheels for something less "pavement pounder". Eventually in going to go with bumpers, custom bed rack and a RTT. I'd have those done already but mods have taken a backseat to saving for a house.

I need to get me some sliders. Definitely a must before a "real" trail run. And of course a damn new suspension set up. Brian you got me hooked on getting King's!

To bad all the trails still have snow on them :(

Haha good Matt!! You going to do a shock relocation too or just get the normal King rears? I need sliders too but I think I'll do a HC rear first.. Need that and skids before lockers

Whats the benefit to the shock relocation? I was just thinking normal King rears. Need some skids too and doing a platform for my dogs in the back haha.

Option 1: BAMF shock relocation ($165)
King 2.0 12" travel (with or without resi) ($444 or $574)
    U bolt flip ($65)
New bump stops (Im going with super bumps so $115)

Option 2: King 2.5 rear shocks with resi ($798)

If you plan on doing the U bolt flip anyway then price wise its actually cheaper to do shock relocation and you get more droop.. So up to you. You have to do a U bolt flip though with the shock relocation from BAMF.
