    Go to stage 3. Blow bottom end after 20k hard miles. Swap to LS3. Custom fit URD supercharger to it. Have supercharged LS3 in tacoma.

    I'm replacing what called a Valvetronic eccentric shaft. basically a 3rd cam if you will. it uses a servomotor to adjust this shaft which works in conjunction with the throttle blade to create minimum valve lift at idle speed for less fuel consumption, and ads the VANOS (variable valve timing) units and the intake cam during load to achieve optimum air & fuel delivery during the power band. that's the basic operation. it goes deeper than that though.

    I didn't copy and paste from anywhere. I know that shit :D. It was stiff movement in the valvetronic shaft and the servomotor. The servomotor turns the shaft via a worm gear. The gear was chewed up a bit. The diagnosis machine told me to replace it. Gave me a diagnosis code for warranty.
